br>br>Otherwise, you get true thickness cables. Check out the Rockford Fosgate cable vs. Boss. The imitation brands are all undersized and made of aluminum or coated aluminum, whereas this Rockford 8AWG power cable is true to size and made of real copper. Because amperage is calculated based on resistance per cross-sectional area and length, it's critical for performance and safety to use genuine products. br>br>I had my doubts that this cable would be significantly superior to el- It was a bargain, to be sure. br>br>However, WHY is the ground cable made of aluminum that is so cheap? Instead of bragging about the copper power cable and forgetting to mention this ground, raise the price a few dollars and make it copper. The ground is a part of the DC power loop's current path, not a mysterious, rarely used wire like the chassis ground on an electric box. It should have the same properties as power, or even be more robust than positive in the event of a fault! I'm sure RF thinks it's fine because it's only a couple feet long. br>br>I'm disgusted by all these companies and their games simply not mentioning one of the two wires is aluminum, etc. It's very difficult to find REAL copper and true to gauge anywhere. Why are there so many lies? Just tell us what's going on.
Copper wire has a slightly lower resistance and retains more WATTS or AMPS over a given distance than aluminum clad wire, but the difference isn't significant (roughly 10-fold). 20% difference, aviation uses aluminum wire to save weight and it works great for jet s and helicopters and it works great for jet s and helicopters and it works great for jet br>br>"CCA": "Canadian Civil Aviation Administration": "Canadian Civil Aviation Administration": "Canadian Civil Aluminum with a copper finish. This is copper-coated aluminum wire, which helps with corrosion and conductivity. Although copper is superior to aluminum copper clad wire, the latter performs admirably and most people will not notice the difference. PRO: br>br>PRO: br>br>PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO

I was looking for a kit to install my under-floor heating system. PS- Rockford Fosgate PS- Rockford Fosgate PS- Rockford Fosgate PS- I bought an 8 that didn't come with any cables when I bought it used. After searching for power, ground, fuse box, and remote separately, I realized that going that route would be more expensive; additionally, the other kits available had a lot of negative reviews claiming that the power cable did not meet AWG specifications, had a lot of insulation, and had small copper cables. This is the best there is, and it's only slightly more expensive than the alternatives. a set of brand kits The power cable is the real deal, with a lot of copper, and it comes with everything you need to power your amp. Do yourself a favor and don't put your money where it counts the most.
These are high-quality cables with actual cable thickness, not just an extra-thick protective sleeve, as many manufacturers do to save money in a deceptive manner. Many people complain about how short the ground cable is, but if you spend 30 seconds reading the product description, looking at the picture, or doing a quick Google search, you'll find that this information is listed. Make the required measurements for your vehicle/motorcycle and, as with anything, make an informed decision. This was ideal for my project, and I was able to get a good deal on a high-quality product, which I would highly recommend. This isn't something you want to skimp on!.
with a single flaw! The wire is of good quality! But! Is it the holder of the fuse? Because of its design, it is exposed to the elements. In a car's engine bay, this is not acceptable. I'm not sure what I'll do now that everything is up and running. Not happy about not seeing/discovering it until after everything was in place. It'll only be a matter of time before water gets in and shorts everything out!.
Ground cable that is not too long Speaker wire and an RCA cable are not included. This is high-quality wiring, as many other reviews have stated. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the ground cable is too short, and you'll need to purchase RCA cable. I didn't do my homework and just assumed it was there. br>br>Because the terminals are pre-installed, this is truly plug-and-play. completed, as well as the insulation (are those actual threads?). ) Is quite adaptable and can be pushed through narrow passageways - Other than the ground cable being too short (c,mon Kicker! ), I used it in a Scion FRS and pushed the power wire through some clip slots it wouldn't have been able to otherwise. br>Other than that, I used it in a Scion FRS and pushed the power wire through some clip slots it wouldn't have been able to otherwise. ), I'm pleased with the kit and would consider purchasing it again.
For that purpose, I purchased a Monster cable, which I will discuss separately. br>br>There are obviously cheaper versions of this kit available, but after doing some research on the various kits, I decided to spend a few extra dollars for a name brand product, and I was not disappointed when it arrived; it is a high-quality kit that does exactly what Rockford Fosgate claims. The pre- Terminated connectors are a plus, and the cable's high conductor count made it extremely flexible and easy to route. br>br>The only way they could have made it better was if they hadn't pre-empted the situation. The battery cable should be connected to the fuse holder at this point. For safety reasons, it must be close to the battery, but you can move the fuse holder further away by cutting a longer piece of cable and re-wiring it. Use the extra battery post connector that comes with the kit to complete the circuit. However, this is a fantastic product in general.
