Amazon was where I got this kit. After weeks of searching on multiple websites, I came across com. I had purchased a JL Audio Mono Subwoofer Amp, a Rockford Fosgate 12" Pre-Amp, and a JL Audio Mono Subwoofer Amp. My 2018 Mazda CX-S has a fully loaded subwoofer box as well as a Kicker Keyloc Line Output Converter. 5 BOSE Factory Sound System Touring - This Amp Wiring Kit was a perfect match for the job! The amount of bass I get from this system is insane; I had to turn down the bass on my factory BOSE Centerpoint settings because it literally shakes my rear window/rear-view mirror. I prepare ahead of time for everything I do on Amazon. So, if I know I'm going to need something, I'll put it in my cart and leave it there because prices fluctuate frequently. It cost around 85 dollars when I added it to my cart. I got an alert a few weeks later that the price had dropped, so I went to check it out and it had dropped to 67$ shipped and sold by Amazon with prime shipping. When an already low-priced item, such as this, drops that much, I usually grab it right away. There will be a savings of $18. In terms of the kit itself, it is probably the best value for money 4 gauge kit available; it is definitely true 4 gauge with adequate insulation and is 100% copper in and out, with no aluminum. In the car, it's very adaptable and simple to use. My BMW 750li is a fairly long sedan, so the length from battery to trunk is ideal. I like that the fuse holder and fuse are already installed, but the fuse is rarely the correct size; too many companies rate their kits based on wattage, which isn't the best approach. Because my amp only draws 80 amps, a 100 amp fuse was too large for my setup, so I had to purchase an 80 amp fuse. In terms of the fuse holder, it's adequate. It took some effort to remove the rubber piece on top of the holder in order to access the Allen screws, but once tightened, the fuse doesn't move or wiggle around like many others have complained about. I didn't use the rcas, so I can't comment on their quality, but when I first started my system, I used a cheap scosche kit from Walmart, and the rcas were fine; I never got any noise from them. These appear to be of comparable, if not superior, quality to the RF brand, but they only come with one pair, and I needed two, so I set them aside and went out and bought four channel stinger cables, which are fantastic. I also skipped the speaker cable because I don't use 16awg speaker wire because it's too small for me. It is also made of aluminum rather than copper. I use monoprice 12awg oxygen free copper, which is a little overkill but isn't too expensive and works great; the ground is the perfect length even though I only needed 12 inches. It's preferable to keep it short. I would strongly advise anyone to purchase this kit. I understand that being on a tight budget in high school is common, but invest a little more now to get better quality because there is a noticeable difference in sound and output.

I only purchased this kit for the power and ground wire because I needed some high-quality OFC wire, which this kit provides. The fuse holder is a low-cost item. It's a huge, obnoxious pink/purple fuse that protrudes from the holder. It does the job, but I intend to replace it with an ANL fuse holder in the future. I wish someone would create a kit with everything I need so I wouldn't have to mix and match. The kicker or RF ANL fuse holder, as well as RF wiring and mediabridge rca.

For my 2016 Ford F150, I had plenty of length. My Rockford Fosgate Prime R2- and the 8ga wire were also a perfect match. Amplifier 500X1 (500 watts). The amp power turn on wire was molded into the middle of the RCA wires years ago. They've since taken it away, so you'll have to run the Blue wire separately or in parallel with them now. It's not a big deal, but the old way was a lot more convenient.

I've had this product on my Scion for about 7 years and have never had any problems with it. If you want something that will last a long time and won't cause you any problems, I highly recommend this kit. Rockford is known for producing high-quality items. Overall, I give it five stars.

I've been using Rockford since I was about 16 (15ish years) and have never had a problem with their amp kits, capacitors, amplifiers, or subwoofers! I'll always buy Rockford because you can't go wrong. Getting this amp kit is well worth the small extra cost.

The amp kit is fantastic in and of itself. The only thing you should know is that the Amazon product description is slightly incorrect. It has a 17-foot power cable and a 3-foot ground cable. It also has a 20-foot Remote wire, but it only has a 16-foot signal cable, despite the fact that it claims to have a 20-foot signal cable. It also claims to include a 60-amp fuse when it actually includes a 100-amp fuse. It also doesn't say whether it comes with speaker wire in the description, but it does, as shown in the main product photo, with 30 feet of 16 gauge wire.
