The Hyper-Flex power ground and turn-on cables used in KICKER complete amp kits are of the highest quality. A heavy-duty AFS fuse holder and fusing are also included, as well as K Series speaker wire and interconnects.

Will a Kicker Comp R 12" with a 1600w amp work with this?

There are no speakers in this scenario. It's just the amplifier's power draw. Wire gauge recommendations can be found in the amplifier's instructions.

Would a 150 watt class D amp at 4 ohms work for this?

You can use 8-watt bulbs with a 150-watt bulb. For this application, 10 gauge wire will suffice; 4 gauge will be excessive.

I've got a Kicker CXA800 hooked up to this. My system pounds with just one amp driving a single Kicker Comp R vented sub. I noticed that the seller from whom I bought them charged me a little more. I recommend that you shop around for a better deal, but this kit is a must-have for your Kicker stereo.

Although the kit is of high quality, the speaker wire will not be able to handle 1500 watts

Although I'm not a huge fan of kicker subs or amps in the first place, I have to admit they have some of the best wire I've ever seen in a kit. The speakers in the kit handle 1500 watt and they haven't been a bit surprising up until recently.

Wiring Kit of the Best Quality I purchased two of these kits and have had no problems with either of them

You get the power cable, ground cable, speaker wire, grommet in case you need to drill through your firewall, fuse block, and a couple of end pieces for your wires, as well as RCA plugs and remote wire, which I used to connect my Fosgate amp and Kicker sub. I've been using this product for almost a year and have had no problems. If you want a clean cut on your cable, use cable cutters.

Package should be installed

This was installed on a 2018 4Runner. Everything was fine except for the fact that it lacked 4 gauge spade connectors. It appears that I will have to purchase them separately, which isn't a huge deal but is a disappointment. Updated on May 4, 2021. I've installed this kit in two vehicles and am pleased with my purchases. The main disadvantage is the constant barrage of questions I get from people who haven't read the description. (It's an annoyance. ).

The RCA cables lose connection from time to time, and I have to wiggle to get them to work again

And the remote cable is about as inexpensive as it gets. As a result, I had to purchase good remote wire as well as a new set of RCAs. Aside from that, it's a good set of tools. Kicker was supposed to be better, and for the money, he should be.

This is the genuine article. For handling high amp loads, 100 OFC is recommended. Fuse holder is very nice. I wish I had purchased two because I already own two Kicker amplifiers.
