To begin, both the power and ground wires have a large ring terminal. br>br>There is one on the power wire, though the insulator does not cover the exposed wire and is mostly over the ring terminal. That's something I'd be interested in collaborating on. br>br>The ground cable is TWO FEET long, not the three feet indicated. In addition, a ring terminal is depicted in the image. No, it's got a strange blade with two small screw holes. It was nothing like what was promised, and it was far too short to be useful. br>br>Aside from these obvious flaws, the quality appears to be satisfactory, but there are no ring terminals in the assortment of items included in the baggy. Otherwise, I could just make a ground out of spare power wire, but nope, just a bunch of useless cheap U connectors and the like. br>br>Really disappointing considering what was promised here.
FIRST AND FOREMOST, AS AN ELECTRICIAN BY TRADE, I DIDN'T EXPECT MUCH, AND I DON'T THINK I WAS DISAPPOINTED. I had some bonus points to use up, and I figured that if I could use any of them, it would be worth it to have them, even if it was just to avoid the hassle of putting the individual pieces together to wire in this new equipment, a powered sub, that I had purchased. I did use the fuseholder after purchasing a cheap metric allen wrench to fit it, so that's a plus. I also used the signal wire because it wasn't as heavy-duty as the other options. duty. Again, I have access to far better material, which is what I ended up using, so the majority of it ended up in a spare parts pile. To be fair, they do provide everything you need, and the quality is probably adequate for most customers. It appears to be well made. It's not at all flimsy, despite the fact that I have no way of comparing it to other similar kits. I'm sure it would have sufficed if I hadn't had other options, but I would have returned it if I hadn't received it in the manner I did. To summarize, it's most likely a high-end version of a low-cost item.
This is by far the best amp wiring kit I've ever come across. I've replaced the head unit, speakers, amps, and subwoofers in every vehicle I've ever owned, but this is the first time I've used this kit, and I won't use another. Spending more money on more expensive kits is a waste of money. This is worth more than $25, so I'm glad it was only $25. I've used a few of the $15-off coupons. While these kits are inexpensive, they are difficult to put together. This kit is not one of them. br>br>I've seen complaints about wire gauges and sizes being too small, but I can assure you that this is perfect. I recently installed a Pioneer TS-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX SWX2502 Shallow 10" SWX2502 10" SWX2502 10" SWX2502 10 Mount Precipice This kit was absolutely perfect for my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 Extended Cab, which is equipped with a BOSS Audio R1100M Riot 1100 Watt Amp, and the quality of the jacket, as well as the green colors, look fantastic in the areas where they are exposed (under the rear seat and under the hood). Also, the fuse holder is quite nice. All cables have a sufficient length. In addition, the RCAs are of excellent quality. Everything you'll need is included, from terminals to zip ties to grommets. It saves you time because one end of each length of wire already has a terminal lug on it; I've had my system up and running for a week and have had no problems. That sub and amp combo has the best sound I've ever installed in a truck cab, and I know it's not because of the wiring. br>br>The next installation I do will include this kit.
/or equipped a vehicle with a sub. a very long time!br>br>So, putting together a low-cost installation (deck, speakers, etc. ) made the decision to add an active sub). br>br>I wanted (and still want) the Cerwin-Vegas. I wanted to get a Vega active/powered sub, but I only had a $75 Amazon gift card, so I had to go for the cheapest option. I would have preferred much better audio, but I have a family to support. I'm not sure I can justify spending a lot of money on car audio components. I'm not 17 anymore; I'm 42 years old. So, based on reviews, I decided to buy the Rockville 8-inch powered under-seat sub. As a result, I required wiring installation. br>br> br>br>At first, I was interested in the Boss kit. It was a few dollars less expensive. br>br> Amazon recommends this book. br>br>It turns out that the Boss wiring kit is not only useless, but also dangerously prone to catching fire in your vehicle. br>br>Not good. br>br>All of the other Amazon Prime wiring kits in the same price range were also a waste of money. Then came this. br>br> br>br>At a similar price, but actual copper wire rated according to the claimed gauges br>br>I purchased it. I'm very happy with it. Everything was included in the package. In fact, there was a lot more. I used the unused aux cable as a ground, only to discover that a larger gauge ground wire had already been included! The main power wire was more than adequate. br>br> The quality of the fuse relay is excellent. br>br>Wow! br>br>I'm blown away! br>br>Is it for financial gain? In the same price range, it is far superior to the Boss or Pyle options. Advantages: br>br> Actual copper wires have a gauge that is close to that claimed. br>As far as Amazon Prime is concerned, nothing compares. br>It's available for purchase! br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. So far, there have been none.
This kit lacked a second set of RCA cables, which was a disappointment to me. The included items and lengths were not clearly stated in the product description - I became perplexed while reading reviews for several kits. The order arrived quickly, and I began the installation process. br>br>With these klts, we're primarily concerned with the quality of the power and ground cables. As a result, three out of five stars The fuse block is made of metal, but the chrome plating gives it a plastic appearance. That's not the case, in my opinion. Tinning the cables (adding solder to keep the hairlike strands together) quickly revealed that they were undoubtedly CCA - Copper Clad Aluminum is a type of aluminum that is clad in copper. But it can also be done with VERY thin copper. The cable's flexibility is aided by the very thin CCA strands. The cables are very light - possibly to a fault There isn't much copper in this. The conductor's brittleness when tinning was a source of frustration. Some people found Flux to be beneficial.
