Questions & Answers

If the back glass is tinted, how well will this camera work?

My windshield is tinted 20% as are all of my truck other windows. There isn't a single issue. Simply disable the night vision IR emitters and the camera will be fine. The IR reflects off the glass and can sometimes white out the image. However, everything is fine because I have a clear video.

What is the best way to connect the rear camera? Is it possible to connect it to the internet?

It isn't connected to the internet. It comes with a 20-foot cord that you connect to the back camera. It connects to the camera's left top side.

Is the interior of the car captured by this dash cam?

No, the interior of the vehicle is not captured. I don't think it's right for me. Both the front and rear cameras are used to record all of the action in front of you, while the rear camera is used to record aggressive driving that is tailgating and pushing you around. It can also be used as a back camera. It has given me a lot of pleasure.

I'm curious about the manufacturing location of this item. ?

China, like nearly every other product sold in the United States, is made in China. , thanks to American CEOs and MBAs who decided a long time ago that the best way to maximize profits was to hire cheap foreign labor.

Selected User Reviews For Z-Edge Dual Dash Cam 4.0" Touch Screen Front and Rear Dash Cam FHD 1080P with Night Mode, 32GB Card Included,155 Degree Wide Angle, WDR, G-Sensor, Loop Recording, Support 256GB Max

The mishap was captured on camera
5/5

As you can see in the video, I was able to both record and witness an accident. Remember that I reduced the resolutions to 480p so that I could share them with you. The original video was in 1080p, which captured every detail of the road, including license plates, at night.

The best menu system is the one with a touch screen! After owning four properties, I've owned 5 other dash cams over the years and this is by far the best
5/5

The touch screen alone should be enough to convince you to buy this one. Don't waste your money on a camera that doesn't have a touch screen. It's a huge help. br>br>My previous camera didn't have a touch screen, and when I needed to watch a video after an incident, I couldn't. I spent ten minutes trying to figure out how to use the menu system by pressing buttons. It's difficult to figure out how to navigate the menu system when there's low light inside the car and the menu buttons aren't labeled and VERY small, especially if you're shaken up by an event that just happened, as I was. br>br>The T4's touch screen menu system is so simple to use that you won't even need to read the user's guide, and the 4" screen allows you to read a license plate while watching video. The camera on the back is fantastic! In fact, I keep it on hand as a backup. up camera and keep it on "rear view" only at all times, which comes in handy when changing lanes because it shows you cars in your blind spot behind you. That is, in and of itself, worth the admission price! It's a no-brainer when it comes to setup. The backup camera cable is long enough for any car, measuring 26 feet. I ran the cable from the front to the back of the trim and used 3M double-sided tape to mount the camera on the trim. It came with an adhesive pad on the side. I love that I can use Picture-in-Picture to view the dash cam! Toggle between showing the back and front of the picture, the front only, the back only, or turn it off entirely. But, as I previously stated, I always keep it set to "rear view only. " It will always record front and rear video, regardless of which view you have it set to. br>br>I can't emphasize enough how easy it is to use a touch screen menu. You'll never go back to buttons after using a touch-screen dash cam! br>br>The video resolution and quality are excellent. There are no complaints here!.

Review of Dad's Den - Video is of good quality, and the touch screen is simple to use
4/5

ON YOUTUBE, SEE THE COMPLETE VIDEO REVIEW. Channel - Reviews of Dad's Den br>br>Welcome to another installment of the Dad's Den Review. I review technology and assist you in making more informed decisions about the products you want to buy. My mission is to assist you in "working smarter, not harder. " " Here's what I had to say about the Z- Dash cam with dual lenses and a touch screen, the Edge T4. br>br>Attention: br>br>Disclaimer: All of my reviews are rated based on how well they perform for the price of the item. I don't think a $180 dual dash camera will perform as well as a $500 dash cam. br>br>Features/Design: br>br> br>br>Both dash cams were made of hard plastic and were simple to install. I accidentally dropped the front-facing camera a couple of times and it worked fine. br>The cables were long enough to reach all the way back to the back of my car. Also useful were the adhesives. br>br>Execution: br>br>Execution: br>br>Exe br>br>I was very impressed with this camera's performance. The cameras' video quality was crystal clear and crisp. It records in 1080p, which is a very high resolution. Even the videos taken while driving at night were crystal clear. br>All of the extra features, as well as the four shooting modes, are fantastic. Each mode serves a distinct purpose. I liked the parking mode because it can record events that may occur to your vehicle even if you are not present. Overall: br>br> br>br>I believe this dash cam performs admirably, especially considering its low price of $169. Although there are many Dual Dash Cams on the market, this one more than lives up to the hype.

I needed to replace a previous brand, and this one is simple to use
5/5

As a commercial driver, I have a responsibility to ensure that the truth is known in the event of an accident. This unit does not wash out as badly as my previous one, and the improved night lens eliminates the need for infrared lights, which usually result in distracting ghosting on the windshield. It's simple to set the date and time, and it's even simpler to install! I just wish there were options to buy a "battery pack" that charges while you're driving and then powers the camera while you're parked. I used one at home, but having that option/recommendation from the manufacturer would be fantastic! Great camera, crystal clear video, and if you really need to, you can download it with a microSD adapter. br>Updated June 9thbr>br>Showing all of NYC's weatherbr>br>Please vote helpful if you like my reviews; I always try to include a picture when I do reviews so that others can see what I'm talking about when they're shopping.

In the first three months, the employee is unable to find work
3/5

I received an email shortly after writing this review informing me of the 18-month warranty, which was nice; however, after requesting directions on how to actually get my replacement at least 6-months after writing this review, I received another email informing me of the 18-month warranty, which was disappointing. I've contacted the company eight times and have received no response. br>br>It's been three months since I bought it, and the product isn't working. Most of the time it will not turn on, and if it does, it will not stay on. Hopefully, the company will come up with a replacement. br>br>Update 8/26/19. I'm still waiting for instructions on how to obtain a replacement!.

On Amazon, there is some misinformation about comparisons

This device does not have GPS logging, despite the fact that the comparison information on Amazon clearly indicates it does.

It's in desperate need of work
3/5

At first, it worked reasonably well - The videos became extremely grainy after that. After three weeks, it simply stopped recording. Even when it worked, there were still too many quality issues, making it difficult to watch the playbacks because the videos were jerky. The screen was always too dark while recording in the car, even in bright sunlight, and there was never a smooth running video like you'd expect. It was nearly impossible to see any details on overcast days. Even though the night videos were particularly bad, I doubt that any dash cam does a good job in the dark. Overall, the camera was a disappointment to me, and I returned it.
