It took a reasonably fast car and turned it into a Rocket. I have a four-cylinder twin turbocharged engine, and I've convinced owners of big V8s (Mustangs, Camaros, and Corvettes) to reconsider their decision. It made me fall in love with my car all over again.
It really wakes up my 19-year-old Si. With the base map set to 23 psi, it pulls a lot harder. However, if you give it too much throttle in 5th and 6th gear, your clutch will slip. The factory clutch isn't designed to handle the power you can get out of this, and that's not the tuner's fault. You'll need to replace your clutch with one that is more aggressive. If you plan on running high boost, be aware of this; however, in terms of horsepower per dollar, it doesn't get much better, if at all.
There is a significant increase in torque and power. The torque in 23psi is so great that it causes the clutch to slip in low gears (1-1). Buying a clutch and this at the same time is definitely a good idea.
After turbocharging, I bought this to dyno tune. The fact that it had a touch screen appealed to me. The fact that they couldn't see data in real time irritated the dyno shop, and the process was significantly slower. I eventually purchased a Hondata Flashpro and sold it for a loss. If you're building a N/A car and tuning it online, K-Tech is the way to go. The tuner is in excellent condition.
Also, whoa! This device is now capable of flight. I'm using the 21psi Dual Target tune, and the throttle is much more responsive; I don't feel as if I'm struggling to pass on the highway, and I'm much more confident when merging or turning. It's the icing on the cake that you can return to the Factory map by pressing the Econ key. I was planning on purchasing the TSP Stage 1 tune to go along with it, but after trying it out, I think I'll hold off for a while. If you're on the fence about doing it, just go ahead and do it. In terms of low-cost options, this is the best bang for your buck. Modifications to effort performance.
My 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2 has been fine-tuned. The difference between 0T and 0T is night and day. Their website has the most up-to-date information on car models and years (the information on this page is outdated). Following the instructions on their online guide, the entire process was extremely simple and straightforward; however, I wish they had an updated user interface (which appears to be outdated) as well as Mac support.
Love the product, it made a huge difference tuning my car with all the new bolt ons. The only complaint I have is the website, there isn't much instruction but it's not difficult to figure out after watching a good YouTube video. I would also recommend the secure their site, it's a little glitchy and says unsecured site while on it but it's not bad I highly recommend it.
