The functionality is excellent, and the build quality is excellent, especially for the price. I haven't discovered any bugs in the software or system yet, but I will update the review if I do. br>br>Bootup takes a short amount of time. When you turn the key on, it's almost instantaneous. The user interface is simple and straightforward, and it functions similarly to an Android tablet. So far, the only thing I've added to the tailgate is a rear view camera, which works perfectly and allows me to see my trailer without getting out of the truck. I like being able to trigger the camera without being in reverse because it allows me to see my trailer without getting out of the truck. br>br>Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others. BUT, there is one thing I want to point out. The unit protrudes a little more than I expected, and the metal housing is exposed, as you can see in the photos. What I'd like to see is some sort of cover for the housing to make it look more finished. As a result, I contacted customer service, who was courteous and prompt in their response. They don't currently make a cover for that part of the unit that allows you to adjust the depth, but Mia was kind enough to pass my suggestion along to the engineering team. There's nothing here that's a deal breaker, and customer service has been excellent thus far.

However, if you're using a business account, you'll need to make sure the SIM is set to tablet only mode, or you won't get any signal. I have yet to come across an audio or video format that isn't supported. By installing VLC for Android, I was even able to get OGG and WMV to work. br>br>Wifi antennas are compatible with both 2 and 3. WiFi reception is amplified by about 5dB on the 4ghz and 5ghz bands. I tried. )br>br>If you're working on a project that necessitates DIN mounting - > Bezel - > You'll have some issues mounting the screen, so I 3d printed a modified bezel that allows screw tightening THROUGH the bezel to account for this. Another option is to gently scrape off the adhesive compound, detach the ribbon cable connecting the main unit to the screen, install the main unit and then the bezel, and then re-glue the main unit and bezel together. the ribbon cable should be connected If you go this route, you'll almost certainly need some good rubber grip tipped angled tweezers. br>br>Finishing Thoughts: br>I like how I can adjust the screen's horizontal position in and out. However, a locking/unlocking mechanism to stop travel would be nice. br>br>Instead of hidden'set screws,' I'd like to see a more user-friendly mechanism for mounting/vertical adjustment because the steering column/control stalks can obstruct screwdriver access. br>br>Overall, this is a very capable head-on collision. It's a good fit for my SG Forester. A four-channel amp for the front and rear door speakers, as well as a monoblock for the subwoofer, are currently in use. That sounds fantastic! True multi-tasking For a smooth sound, the band equalizer and HPF/LPF adjustments are spot on!.

The ATOTO S8 Gen2 8" floating screen is yet another excellent product from ATOTO, which continues to outperform the competition. You can buy cheaper or even more expensive Android radios and still not get what you get with this one. The interface is simple to use, and you have a lot of options for personalizing your system and making your experience more personalized. You can always purchase one of the other Android systems, but you will never have the best experience if you purchase an ATOTO. Only a 10-inch floating display would have been preferable. All- All in all, it's a rock-solid radio that outperforms the other Android radios I've tried or read about. Start with the best from the beginning to save time, money, and headaches.

The ATOTO S8 Ultra Plus 10 is what I got. 1". Everything was fine until the speakers began to make a drum sound and eventually stopped working. I assumed the speaker had failed, so I replaced it with my old unit (Atoto F7 10. 1"). I returned the ATOTO S8 Ultra Plus 10 because it worked fine and had no issues with the sound. 1" and order a new one, it's such a jerk unit that I really enjoy it. Regrettably, I was assigned a poor one. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The second unit has arrived. While it was operational, it was a fantastic unit. I went to work today, July 26th, and everything was fine. now that I've finished my shift. The device will not get past the initialization screen. This was the second time I'd worked in a unit like this. To be honest, I'm sticking with my old stereo. that nonsense savor it while you can.
