The battery refused to charge from the vehicle for some reason. We discovered that I was missing a fuse (fog light) for my car with the assistance of my brother. We didn't use the Vantrue external hard wire kit because it wasn't necessary, and instead relied on the Cell Link kit. br>br>I was also able to hide the battery under the driver's seat, and the wires were hidden in the trimming. br>br>The two cameras are literally the only thing that stands out. br>br>It feels like my car is armored and super cool!.

I turned it on after an hour of carefully installing the front and rear cameras. The front camera wire connection began to smoke after only 5 minutes. I pulled out the front camera cord, burning my fingertip in the process, and noticed that the connecting points were melting. For the time being, I'm returning the item, but I'm willing to give it another chance in the future. A replacement is on the way from Amazon. For the time being, I'm going to give this a one-star rating because it's DANGEROUS. I'll update this review once I've had a chance to try out the replacement. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> The seller issued a $30 refund and replaced the item. It's now installed, and the replacement is working perfectly, with no further issues.

Period.   I've had so many cameras that I can't keep track of them all. My previous car was a Junsun, which was fantastic but died as soon as the ignition was turned off. br>br>I decided to get a new dash camera, one that could save files in particular. I also received a Vantrue fuse adapter, which is even better. So far, I'm extremely pleased with this dash cam. There are three cameras on the device. br>br> The first camera records in front of the vehicle, the second in the back, and the third in the interior. For ride-hailing companies like Uber and Lyft, the inside camera is ideal. The internal camera also includes night vision LED lights, making it much easier to record passengers. It's also useful for capturing the car's sides. The video quality is excellent. br>br> "OK" is not what I'm referring to. "Good" isn't the word I'm referring to. It's absolutely wonderful. There are several "quality settings" to choose from to get the best quality vs. SD card space usage, and I went with a 256 GB card because I plan on using it in parking mode and want to be able to check the stored content after a night of parking. If I'm only going to use it for driving, I'll get a smaller capacity card. In addition, for the best video quality, I'm using the highest resolution. br>br>The rear camera is of excellent quality. On the back camera, I can clearly see license plates. The camera in the cabin is excellent. The camera on the front is excellent. Exceptionally good. br>br>Instead of a lipo battery, the camera uses a super capacitor, which is much more long-lasting than a lipo battery, which will lose function over time and in extreme heat or cold. br>br>The main reason I got this camera was to record the car's surroundings and catch someone if it was scratched or hit from the side, which is something that front and rear cameras can't do. With the wide angle, this one can see the sides of the car, as it points to the inside of the cabin. br>br>Inside the box is a well-written manual with simple instructions, but to be honest, I didn't bother reading it because everything is pretty self-explanatory. self-explanatory The instructions and illustrations, on the other hand, are simple and straightforward. br>br>A 12V charger, camera, rear camera and cable, USB cable, and window mount were included with the camera. br>br>Three large buttons for menu navigation are located on the top of the camera. A microSD card slot, as well as a USB input for the rear camera, are located on the side. A reset button, a C port (which also serves as a means of transferring videos from the microSD card), and an HD out are all included. br>br>To get a better view of the cabin, the inside-facing camera can be rotated up and down. br>br>Back-to-back-to-back to back-to-back to back-to-back to back- The camera mount also rotates up and down for a better view of the outside. br>br>A long cable is included with the rear camera.
