In what form does the antenna need to be? Quite a few say they are digital products, how do I know which is which?

There is only an analog tuner on this box, so digital antenna alone will not be able to detect it. To make this work, you'll need to use an analog to digital DTV converter.

In my experience of owning this unit for just over a year, it worked well at first, but a bit of trouble soon set in when the remote needed to be held about 6 inches from the eye in order to work, and it is not switched on automatically when you turn on the As of about a year ago, it has worked great for about 20 minutes, but then it just says input 1 on the screen as though it does not have Whenever I try an input it just says input 1 (or whatever input is selected

) After trying every input it gives the same result. In short, if I bypass the tuner and go straight to my monitor, I may be able to get the video working. All in all do not waste your money on this tuner, as it does only analog. Buy a DTV converter box that has analog pass-through (if you must have analog) and an AV switcher to connect to it. Compared to the jenson KSW41, I purchased the KSW41 for a much lower price. In addition, being able to switch between three video outputs does away with the need for an expensive.
