Because this camera uses a loop recording mode, the size of the micro storage card you insert determines how many days of footage can be stored.
If you have a cab over camper, it should work, but you'll need a cable extension if you have a trailer.

If you have any issues, the manufacturer is very easy to work with. Stronger than average willpower. br>I would buy from them again because of their excellent email communication (usually within 24 to 48 hours). br>br>the red can be connected directly to the vehicle reverse light, while the black can be connected to the - reversing the wire USE A DC VOLT METER TO DETERMINE THE CORRECT REVERSIBLE LIGHT FIXTURE. with the proper polarity (-) + ).
I liked it a lot, even if it wasn't clear at first that you had to buy the memory card separately, but that was my fault for not digging deeper into the details. If you plan to buy this, make sure you get the memory card, otherwise the camera will not record. br>br>Anyway, I'm going to talk about a strange occurrence right now. I didn't hardwire it because my car already had a backup camera, and I only use it for recording from behind. When I'm in a public parking lot, I leave it on, but when I get home, I unplug it from the cigarett outlet and turn it off so the battery doesn't drain. br>br>I drove my car to Dunkin' Donuts with my husband and back home without incident just yesterday, and I left my dash cam unplugged. Later that day, when I tried to start it up again, it became unresponsive. The battery light was on and the wrench light was on when it first said transport mode. It's still not connected to the dash cam. I arranged for it to be towed to the Ford dealership where I work. The technician believes the dash cam is a possible cause of the battery draining without being plugged in due to an error code. br>br>Fast forward to today, the technician believes the dash cam is a potential cause of the battery draining without being plugged in due to an error code. br>br> He only says that because he completely dismantled it, and the fault code vanished as a result. He's still diagnosing it, but it raises the question of whether or not this dash cam draws power even when it's not plugged in. br>br>Keep in mind that I still haven't hardwired it and haven't connected the red cable to my brake light. So, this is a rather eerie situation, and I am currently very unhappy with it. If that's the case, I'm almost feeling betrayed by it and the car. br>br>We're going to leave it over another night to see if it's just a battery issue, but I'm a little nervous about using it. If things improve, I'll make a note of it in my notebook. br>br>*Moving on to a few days later
I needed to replace my battery, which was not due to the camera's fault. However, keep this in mind when purchasing the camera, and if you know your battery is old, simply unplug it to avoid the same situation as me. br>It's still a good camera, but I disconnected the rearview camera because I don't use it any longer. br>The red cable that many people in this review see is for the brake light, which is used to show what's behind you on your camera. However, I already had a backup camera installed in the dash, so there was no need for this. It continues to function to this day. br>.
This product isn't up to snuff. Please do not purchase it; otherwise, you will be disappointed. The camera is in poor condition, and the focus lens points straight up at the sky rather than down at the road. I tried a few different things, but nothing worked. This is not a good product; it is extremely poor and unfit for sale.
Before buying this item, I wish I had read all of the reviews. After a week and a half, this product stopped working. When I inquired about a replacement, the seller stated that they do not provide replacements. They told me that I needed to return the item to Amazon and then reorder it to complete my replacement. I requested a replacement from Amazon because I did not want to wait indefinitely for a non-defective - With the return process, I received a high-quality, brand-new, and in-working item. Amazon refused and echoed the seller's sentiments. My return has been with Amazon for more than two weeks. There has yet to be a refund. Today, I noticed that my order and purchase includes "Support for: "br>br> br>br>10'' Mirror Dash Cam Night has been upgraded. br>br>Ask Amazon for assistance. br>br>Set- tips on how to set it up and how to troubleshoot Manuals and replacement parts are available. 90 days of coverage is provided for free. In the end, br>br> The seller is shady, and they haven't given me any reason to believe in them or approve and recommend anything they make, sell, promote, or offer.
Hi, this is my third mirror camera with the rearview camera it was working fine and now it won't work at all I don't know what's wrong with it but if I can't return it I'm definitely not buying anymore I tried three different companies and they all screwed up so I haven't had a chance to do anything yet because I'm sick but I'll try to get it in if it's still under warranty if it isn't I guess I'll.
The camera is not the same shape as in the photos, and it will be installed upside down (with the mounting plate facing the sky) - To mount the camera on top of my vehicle, I had to flip it over, remove the plate, and use sticky tape. br>Says the SD card has a maximum capacity of 32 GB - I bought a 128g card, but it said it needed to be formatted, so hopefully it will still work. 32 g is a bit of a throwback. br>Even in low light, the quality is good. The screen appears to be clear and pleasant to look at. The ability to see both the front and back at once is intriguing, but I doubt I'll ever use it. I'm not sure if the front camera can tilt, but I'm using it with the screen facing me, so it's at an odd angle.
I believe the front do you camera was mistakenly swapped with a rearview camera at the factory, as the front camera's quality is about 3 to 4 times worse than the rear camera on any given day or night. I ordered a replacement camera in case the first one was defective, but the second one was identical to the first. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it.
