I liked it a lot, even if it wasn't clear at first that you had to buy the memory card separately, but that was my fault for not digging deeper into the details. If you plan to buy this, make sure you get the memory card, otherwise the camera will not record. br>br>Anyway, I'm going to talk about a strange occurrence right now. I didn't hardwire it because my car already had a backup camera, and I only use it for recording from behind. When I'm in a public parking lot, I leave it on, but when I get home, I unplug it from the cigarett outlet and turn it off so the battery doesn't drain. br>br>I drove my car to Dunkin' Donuts with my husband and back home without incident just yesterday, and I left my dash cam unplugged. Later that day, when I tried to start it up again, it became unresponsive. The battery light was on and the wrench light was on when it first said transport mode. It's still not connected to the dash cam. I arranged for it to be towed to the Ford dealership where I work. This product isn't up to snuff. Please do not purchase it; otherwise, you will be disappointed. The camera is in poor condition, and the focus lens points straight up at the sky rather than down at the road. I tried a few different things, but nothing worked. This is not a good product; it is extremely poor and unfit for sale.

Before buying this item, I wish I had read all of the reviews. After a week and a half, this product stopped working. When I inquired about a replacement, the seller stated that they do not provide replacements. They told me that I needed to return the item to Amazon and then reorder it to complete my replacement. I requested a replacement from Amazon because I did not want to wait indefinitely for a non-defective - With the return process, I received a high-quality, brand-new, and in-working item. Amazon refused and echoed the seller's sentiments. My return has been with Amazon for more than two weeks. There has yet to be a refund. Hi, this is my third mirror camera with the rearview camera it was working fine and now it won't work at all I don't know what's wrong with it but if I can't return it I'm definitely not buying anymore I tried three different companies and they all screwed up so I haven't had a chance to do anything yet because I'm sick but I'll try to get it in if it's still under warranty if it isn't I guess I'll.

The camera is not the same shape as in the photos, and it will be installed upside down (with the mounting plate facing the sky) - To mount the camera on top of my vehicle, I had to flip it over, remove the plate, and use sticky tape. br>Says the SD card has a maximum capacity of 32 GB - I bought a 128g card, but it said it needed to be formatted, so hopefully it will still work. 32 g is a bit of a throwback. br>Even in low light, the quality is good. The screen appears to be clear and pleasant to look at. The ability to see both the front and back at once is intriguing, but I doubt I'll ever use it. I'm not sure if the front camera can tilt, but I'm using it with the screen facing me, so it's at an odd angle.

I believe the front do you camera was mistakenly swapped with a rearview camera at the factory, as the front camera's quality is about 3 to 4 times worse than the rear camera on any given day or night. I ordered a replacement camera in case the first one was defective, but the second one was identical to the first. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it.
