As it stands, the camera seems to work just fine. Your auto dimming or glare reduction system depends on the +12 being connected to a circuit powered by an accessory in order for it
That's right. You can do it. There is a depth of around one inch.
It is not possible to toggle this feature. Two inputs are available, one of which is video, and one of which is reverse. Whenever the reverse footage is added to a source, the reverse video will appear. Reverse cameras are generally connected to the power of a reverse light, so when the vehicle starts moving and reverse lights come on, the camera (and screen) turns on. In order to turn on the video input for your reverse camera when the reverse camera is on, you need to press the power button on the mirror.
If you back up, you will see lines on the display. According to the instructions, you will need to cut a wire on the camera.

two (2) camera Although I admit to reading his review before buying, I did not immediately act on it. Why did I decide to buy this kit in the first place? Due to my repeat customer status, I thought his poor review was unique. It took me a few years ago to install a Master Tailgater's rear view mirror/camera on my They only differed from us in that the new tailgate handle came with the camera installed. During my first time with this kit, I didn't expect the instructions to be so vague but honestly pretty useless. It is likely that it would have taken me several hours more to complete my already 6 hour install if it weren't for several YouTube videos that helped me through the process. Despite having to go to the hardware and auto parts store due to difficulty removing rusted bolts from the taillight of my '07 Tundra, this project was still completed in one day. As well, I will need a fuse tap to prevent me from running the power wire from the main fuse box under the hood (there is an In the end, it was "poorly written instructions" that held us back. It is highly recommended that you hire a professional to install this type of system if you have never done one before. What is the functionality of the product now that it has been Comparing it with my previous Master Tailgater kit from a few years ago, I would rate it moderately to poor. Resolution and color are not as good as they could be. An interferance can be seen, in the form of Occasionally, even with the truck in reverse, I see the image in the mirror flash twice or three times before it stays. Despite it being an excellent product, I am not confident that it will last over time. Nevertheless, I do not want to uninstall the software and send it back, since I have invested so much time in it. In retrospect, I would have ordered a wireless 2 if I were to do it all over again. The 6GHz band. A camera and LCD screen like the ones I installed in the old Honda of my wife. There is one that works fine and costs the same as this one. Counting the time taken to remove the rear taillight and access the reverse light, I installed it in just 45 minutes. I found that the instructions on that unit were much clearer too, even with a translation from Chinese to English. Still, however. Rather than mounting a separate screen on the dash, I preferred the look and feel of the screen being in the mirror.
Pleased to see Master Tailgater's kit isn't as good as other kits. PLEASE LET POTENTIAL BUYERS KNOW! It is not easy to install (as the instructions are poorly written) and the image quality is terrible.
In a nutshell, I am happy with how things are going so far. I placed it on my 2013 Toyota Corolla without any problems. The item should fit all the brands it says in the description. A Torx screw needed to be removed from the mirror mount, and the old mirror could be removed by sliding it After installing the new mirror, I tightened the screw with the Allen wrench that came with it. I tucked the wire under the headliner between the windshield and the headliner. Wire ran down the drivers side weather strip and down to the floorboard. A fuse box add-on was used to connect it to my fuse box It seemed a little strange to me at first, to wire up the circuit onto an accessory fuse (so it would turn off when I turned off the car), to connect the cameras I wouldn't be using, but after I did, I hooked them into the camera, and voilà. I highly recommend this product. It works perfectly and looks great. Although the video was taken before I hooked up a front camera, it may still be useful.
A person who is honest It is a great item, but unfortunately accompanied by two deficiencies There were no instructions for DYI laypersons who are "without electrical knowledge and in need of a professional's help" when installing these systems But making your way through the diagram will not be easy, so you will be confused. DO NOT CONTACT CUSTOMER SUPPORT IF YOU NEED INSTRUCTIONS! THESE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS WILL HELP YOU I. . . Join the green wire to the wire that leads from your camera. Ground your vehicle
c by connecting the black wire to any ground in the vehicle. 2) Customer service was unhelpful and condescending, and the red wire must be connected to a power source, as the green wire is not sufficient to power the device It was my own fault for not understanding the installation instructions.
A mirror monitor with such a large and attractive screen is just what you need. There is a wire cover that goes to the headliner, so it was extremely simple to install. The auto dimming feature is absent in my car, but I live in Florida, where the tinted windows are dark. As of now, that has not proven to be a problem. The purchase has exceeded my expectations in every way.
Here's an update. I just can't get it to work anymore. The expert installed it for me for $65 and then I paid another $65 for him to determine why it isn't It has been determined that the equipment is bad. My question now is to the manufacturer of this product, how are you going to resolve this given I spent more than I had to because I couldn't even get the piece of crap to function? There is a problem with the picture quality in the pictures, and it fails to work in reverse and glitches when I do, and it isn't always stable. The only way I would keep it is to get someone else to wear it for me. I would have to hire someone to remove it, which means I would lose money as well. Your money will not be wasted.
