realize that I bought this car to replace the one my daughter has. This is a good product
For a 2012 MKX and a 2013 MKX, I believe the part number is the same. Due to this, the image will be upside down with no way for it to be corrected.
My 2006 Dodge Ram probably uses mine
There are no grids on this camera, it works exactly like OEM. It is even better than the resolution with one exception. The zoom function is not available. Zooming was not available as well on OEM models.

Here is a review of the system post-installation This system is installed on an Edge SEL 2013. A slightly brighter image than the original has been captured by the camera. There is no problem with the grid lines nor the backup warning sounds. Originally, my camera would randomly fail and I would get a message saying it was unavailable, so I had to contact my dealer. My Sync software was not up to date, so I updated it to the latest version. During the installation, I used a YouTube video from Leo's Variety Channel, which walked me through how to do it. We hope the new camera lasts at least as long as the original did.
We would see either an upside-down camera or no camera at all with ours. There are very few times when it gets Our car was taken to the dealership for repair, and they wanted over $800 to do After watching a video on YouTube on how to change the camera, I changed the In the end, there was only one step that involved plastic inserts, the rest of the procedure was very easy and it took me about 30 to 45 minutes. I was able to make the camera work better than ever with the car.
In the first case, I got a camera that did not work at all, so I had to ship it back to China, a waste of time. In the second case, there was Having returned home. That was the third one, which seemed to work fine. This is
PRO
- If you back up, you will be able to see what is behind you. I. - Parking close to the curb would be a good idea.
CON
- It is not a perfect fit for the camera. One-star rating)*br/ You have to aim left in order to compensate for the offset provided by the guide lines. A star)* - There are white lines directing one way and two directions, which shouldn't even exist, and it's very star)
I guess I just have to adjust.
I was able to install this camera into my wife's 2011 Ford Edge with no programming requirements. The price was superb as well. In the dealership, the price was $340 just for the camera, and the dealer didn't even ask about labor, so I decided to check it out because the reviews were good and boy, it turned out to be There's no need to hesitate, this is a definite must-have.
It has a good picture quality, but it is listed as a replacement for a 2013 Lincoln MKX on Amazon. It will install, but there is only one effective way to do so, which turns the image In Sync, there is no way to adjust the position of the image. It was returned for a replacement that was correct.
In spite of being described that way, this camera did not fit well in my 2011 Lincoln There is a problem with the form factor There is a right-side shutter on this camera There is a straight Lincoln OEM connector, while the angle connector is from Lincoln. There was a piece of plastic on the hold that I removed I made a down bracket to make that fit and used a bit of silicone since the gasket fits loosely. Although the camera itself works very well, it shows the lines and it is in the right orientation.
I used this as a replacement for my 2011 Ford Edge and it worked perfectly. There are backup lines and everything is recognizable, and unsurprisingly, the picture is much sharper than a ten-year-old camera from ten years ago. I had it installed by Best Buy and the tech was very skeptical about how well it would work, so I signed a waiver to return it. I was able to use it immediately and without any problems.
The following problems with my 2011 Ford Edge existed before I installed the new system I. - I have intermittent connectivity - To find out more, call the dealer. This message will be delivered to-- View from the upside down
I received a quote from the dealer for $700 to fix the issue. Having installed this camera, it works exactly like it should. There are guidelines for me You do not have to reprogramme the device. The picture quality is comparable to OEM's of 10 years ago, which makes sense since no new displays have been introduced or new software has been developed to support higher resolutions. Find details on how to install the program on YouTube The right tools allow you to do it in less than 20 minutes.
