There is no guarantee how far away a city is. monitor's power comes from the cigarette lighter, so it does not extend 100 meters.
license plate is actually in front of the camera. When you double-click the license plate, it will switch between the bumper and the camera. A strip of sticky tape covers the bracket of the camera. This means that the camera is mounted above the plate, then the bumper sticks to the plate, and then the plate sticks onto the 2nd sticky tape on the camera. The program is very easy to use.

I found the directions in the package to be very easy to follow, and in 45 minutes I had Having completed the installation in minutes, I was ready to go. Using the above-the-license-plate position, I took photos of it. I was impressed with the quality of the video on the monitor. With the gear shift in Reverse, I get a good view of the truck behind the monitor as soon as it comes on. As of now, I have a better idea of what is behind me and can make better backup decisions You can get up much easier and safer now. My recommendation for this product is high.
This device was installed on a 40 foot fifth wheel to monitor my boat when I tow it and I was tickled to death when I turned on the clearance light when I connected the unit to the truck. I like the sharpness of the For the last four years, I have been looking for one of these and the good quality ones were around 400 bucks, but when I saw this purchase for only 119 dollars, I knew I had found it. According to the manufacturer, it will work on my fifth wheel after sending him an email. My high rating for this product is 5 stars. I am "Jack".
I was very pleased with the service, shipping, and the product itself, the images seem very durable, and the picture quality is good. It has not caused any interference with outside sources since it is a digital signal. That being said, the product was installed on a 2008 Ford Explorer, and the entire process took about two hours from start to finish, not 30 minutes as it was for some of the other reviewers. In order for the transmitter cable to fit into and connect to the rear camera, I had to cut it and add a foot or so to the power cable. I think this is also a place where the company should install an extra plug so that you do not have to snake the transformer through all the tight spots. This would make it easier to install it. In addition, rather than two holes as described in the instructions, I need to drill four holes. It is important to note that every install is different and has its own unique set of requirements. I would buy it again and give it a four out of five rating.
The first thing you need to do is make sure you have a proper reverse light connected to the camera. I noticed that the only reverse lights were illuminated on the rear door of the 2013 Ford Escape that I installed it on. The reverse light on the main tail light was originally plugged into the rear I really liked the way it worked out. A bunch of wires were all on the door that was in the back. Just to make sure you weren't able to see the hole, I drilled a 2 inch hole 2 inches left of the middle of the license plate, about 1/2 inch below its middle. By threading the wire from the camera through the hole and bolting the license plate on, the security camera can be assembled. It is better to be safe than sorry, so I caulked the back with silicon caulk to prevent water from getting in. Although I think this is not necessary, it is better In the case of the camera, the wire that connects to the reverse light wires and the actual camera are neatly tucked behind a plastic panel. I wrapped all 15 feet of extra wire around the suction cup mount at the front. The fact that it also has a USB port is incredibly handy. It seems to work as it should, and the construction seems to be quite sturdy. My vote is for two thumbs up.
The reason I chose this unit over others is that it indicated it would work on a pickup truck. According to the user manual, which I actually read before embarking on the project, I should keep an eye out for metal barriers between the antenna and the display. I was therefore I tested it on my truck and it worked just fine. Taking this test was easy thanks to Toyota. There is no interference from the camera with the tailgate because it is on the license plate. I was able to make my way up into the left taillight with the nylon ties and secure the wiring along the way. It's a good idea to mount it behind the taillight, because it's watertight, and you can connect it to the reverse light easily I've been very happy with the picture quality thus far, and I look forward to seeing past results.
I also would like a camera that will work on multiple trucks. It couldn't have happened without AUTO VOX, for they not only provided me with one, but they made it happen with a quality, excellent product! Several things stand out to me about the customer service. The company sent out a replacement camera in just two days after I received the first one! The software was easy to install and worked perfectly! Words are not able to convey all the information that pictures can. It is hands-down a 5 star product! I would like to thank you for your quality customer service and the quality of your product. The following is from David in SLC, Utah.
Easy to install on a If you want to see the ball of the hitch, it's best to mount fairly low, like near the top of the back Thus, in order for you to see down to the hitch ball, the truck has to be parked up high so that you can see 15 feet or so behind it. It will be located in the middle of the license plate if it is mounted lower. Due to the wiring, it is not possible to connect it to the tail gate like a factory unit. Considering it is for hooking up a trailer, it is still worth it in the end.
It didn't pose any problems for me to install the backup camera. I was able to get it to work immediately. There were two clips in the kit that allowed the connection to the back up lights to be made easily and without damaging them. clamp together until they snap into place, clip onto the wire, plug in the backup camera wires, then clip together until they snap together. There was a clear picture on the camera and driving was easy since the lines in the picture made parking obvious. Easy hookup is made possible by the length of the wire.
