They do have a crossover built in. In this case, I hooked them up as if I were connecting a subwoofer to an amplifier. So I hooked up the low output on the head unit to my amplifier. Then I hooked up the tweeters to the high output on the head unit, and it worked perfectly. I LOVE THE SOUND OF THIS. That should be able to answer your question. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask/Pat.

I am amazed! They are a great value for the price. I heard a clear difference from my 2015 Jeep Wrangler's stock tweeters. This is a very easy to install device on the front dash of a JK Wrangler. After prying off the speaker grill, you will need to remove the speaker by removing 2 bolts of 7mm in diameter. Take the factory tweeter cable out of the wall. This is an area where you need to get creative. For the new tweeter, you'll want to use the metal bracket the tweeter is attached to. (I used a flat head screwdriver to pry it off from the metal bracket). To replace the tweeter, use a glue gun or silicone to attach it to the bracket after you remove the speaker from It is now time to splice the power and ground from the two new tweeters into your existing wiring It feeds power to the grey/yellow wire, while it feeds ground to the grey/purple wire. A really easy installation took no more than 20 minutes We noticed how much louder and crisper the speakers are than factory speakers.
I pulled the crap stock ones out of my 2014 Jeep Wrangler and replaced them with these. The difference is definitely evident when it comes to the highs (treble). There were wires in the corner tombstone speakers that had to be cut and stripped, and the wires had to be spliced together. couldn't find a harness for them. To fit them in, I had to round out the holes with my drill. Take your time and do this little by little so they will fit snugly.
As a lover of RF stuff, I was thrilled when I found this. The 2008 Toyota Tacoma was provided with all parts and supplies needed to fix a blown tweeter. Making a bracket from spare plastic and fitting it perfectly with a back friction washer was easy. The design is really good. My alpine tweeters spoiled me, and I had to turn up the treble a bit because these are not as clear as my alpine tweeters. This was an excellent buy for the price! Definitely would buy it.
Housing complexes with a large population. It's alright with them. The last time I bought them, I didn't like them. Despite their good quality and low price, they do have a few downsides. If you want to flush mount the unit, the company uses an odd-sized hole. In addition, they have quite a bit of depth I had to modify mine to allow enough clearance for it to sit flush against the wall. You can find plenty of tweeters that do not have such large housings and can produce just as good if not better sound. These tweeters are good for the price you pay if you want some good ones. Nevertheless, if you want to flush mount them, be prepared to put some work into it.
The stock stereo does not require an amp and sounds pretty good without one. On the new speakers for the doors I attached new 6x8 Rockford F's punch to the double spade connectors, and the tweeters are simply connected to them. It turned out well to take this picture in this location. My tweeter sticks well to the plastic pillar with the help of a magnet I glued behind it. It is not necessary to use an amplifier.
The problem is. The tweeters were replaced first before I changed anything else. I noticed a huge difference in the sound quality of the stock system alone just by installing these tweeters. Astonished was the best word to describe my experience. There were so many reasons to stop there that I considered stopping. I was able to hear the music much better, and it was much louder. Even though the volume was all the way up, the tweeters seemed to like it. The factory speakers may not have been a good match in terms of power and efficiency. When they were listened to at a low volume, the speakers drowned them out. However, when they were at full volume, they were simply fantastic! I have installed the tweeters in the stock dash tweeter pods and they fit perfectly. was just a matter of working with a file to get them to snap.
I was there for a short time. I was pleased with their performance for the first few months, until one of them stopped working completely after two Despite verifying all connections and that the rest of the system is functioning correctly, I cannot connect to the internet. The process of death has just taken place. A pair of both was removed and bench tested. One was found to still work correctly, but the other one was simply destroyed. The RF gear I have in my Jeep, with the exception of the head unit, has never disappointed me. There has been no change as of yet. Upon contacting the seller, I want to determine if there is a recourse, and if there is not, I will look for a different brand to replace the old one.
These are fairly well driven by the factory amp, which is 25 watts. A wide selection of music is played and they are very Even though there may be better speakers out there, I have learned if you choose speakers that complement your equipment you will experience better sound. This is exactly what I need for my setup. A powered R-100 system is part of my system The sub is enclosed in an enclosed box, with the components inside the door and these tweeters. It works really well. This is easily the best setup I have ever used. This set of tweeters is perfect for you!.
