OKAY, I'M GOING TO SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO JUST HAD BAD LUCK WHEN THEY ORDERED THESE IT'S NOT THE BRAND MY WHOLE SYSTEM IS SKAR AUDIO AND THIS IS NOT MY FIRST TIME USING THEIR BRAND THAY ARE BAD A** VERY HIGH QUALITY BRAND THEY MAKE THEIR STUFF IN THE SAME PLACE.
I'm going to give it a 2. This is a 5-star product. I just received them in the mail today and was ecstatic that they arrived sooner than expected. The delivery gets two thumbs up. BUT. I immediately noticed something when I opened the package and examined it. Yes, the negative terminal appears to be strong enough to connect to. However, when I looked at the positive terminal and saw that the high pass filter wire had been soldered into the hole, I was a little surprised. So, how am I supposed to connect this mess with a connector? Obviously, this isn't possible without jeopardizing the integrity of the system. So, I guess I'll have to strip and wrap speaker wire around it, then secure it with three feet of electrical tape. rather than simply slid a connector onto it Design flaw of the highest order. 3 is also mentioned. 5". There isn't even a number three on the face. 5". There are only two magnets in the set. It also claims to be a "TITANIUM" bullet tweeter. Despite the fact that "aluminum" is mentioned in the owner's manual.
First, I purchased a pair of Skar Audio VX35-based headphones. ST 3. I bought two more inch 300 Watt RMS tweeters to install on the rear quarter panels, and the results are very impressive; I still have six dome tweeters, three on each door, but the difference is like: from heaven to earth; the sound is very crisp and clear; I like them a lot. If you are looking for tweeters, get these ones; you will not be disappointed.
You'll have to disassemble them to get them through the mounting hole, and then when you try to reassemble them, they won't fit. When they're mounted on the baffle plate, getting to the screw holes is nearly impossible. You can't really control the tour tools because of the super-strong magnets they have. I was only able to get one screw into place. I'm still stumped as to how to get the other two in.
The best tweeters ever make me happy with those crispy delicious sounds.

These will fit in the dash if you want to replace the tweeters in your Toyota RAV4. However, you'll have to make your own adapter to align the factory bolt holes. I simply removed the factory tweeters. Then, after cutting them to remove the tabs from the tweeter, secure them to the Skar tweeter with a self-tapping screw. There's no need to cut the dash or door panel after that because they'll bolt up in factory bolt holes. These make a huge difference in the rav4's mediocre audio system.
5" hole. These were purchased to go with a set of 6 1/4 Skar speakers to rebuild a set of boxes I had for use at my cabin. My first test (inside) was over the weekend, and they seem to produce a lot of highs - It's almost overpowering the main speakers, but I won't be able to get a good sound test until I can set them up outside; at the very least, there's no more distortion, which was one of the reasons for the rebuild. The only criticism I have concerns the speaker's personal profile. They do, in fact, fit a number three. 5" opening, but they're shaped like a star, with gaps between the mounting bosses. I took out a couple of threes. 5 x 4. Between the tweeter and the cabinet, I made 5 shims out of some plastic stock I had on hand - It appears to work, and the visuals aren't that important because I'll be hanging these outside under an overhang. The most important factor is whether or not they will hold up.
