With 15-band EQ and gain controls on each channel, you can tune the sound to your taste You can bypass the cut and EQ functions with the bypass button. It is a simple product without bells and whistles that provides a basic EQ for audio. Pros of the equipment include that it works as it should, for the time being. The only con is that it does not last I have owned it for under 6 months and have used it only once a week before channel 1 stopped working. In the olden days, the inexpensive sound equipment would last at least a year or two, but now everything in the house dies after six months? I have yet to rewire the system that I purchased it for, so I am only using half of it. Adding it to my studio monitors was a great purchase for me. They are placed on a desk, close to a wall, and as a result they emit extra bass. With this stereo Graphic EQ, I am able to tame the sound to make it sound I wasn't able to change the filters on this unit, but a more expensive unit would have more powerful filters.
