In case that is the question, it comes with a power plug. As with my Clarion EQ, this was the same. A different name for the same thing. I can also use the plug with my Clarion

It is much too bright when using blue LEDs

This particular unit has a different type of wiring hookup than several others (this particular brand is similar). The original brand failed after a few years, so this one was purchased as a replacement. In order to disable the lighting, I have cut the wiring (actually the resistor) inside. On the previous unit, I had to replace the resistors with bigger ones, and I also had to add a wire to my car's dimmable lights since the blue LEDS are way too bright factory-installed. We wish they would pack an illumination circuit from the factory because if they did this would be a truly great unit. As a finishing touch, I paint a drop of black paint on the indentation of each knob so you can see its setting easily. Although this particular unit is a little less sensitive than the last brand I used, nor is it quite as good a sound as that of the last brand I used, it is still a decent unit.

It is too bright to see anything in blue light. Listening to and recording nature sounds is all that I do with it. Small size makes it convenient to carry around. Works very well for reducing urban ambient noise. It is hard to tell what the blue light behind the panel does for us. If the light could be turned off, I would prefer it.

While the blue lights are too bright on my installation, they are below eye level so I am fine with it

In the event that you are unable to adjust the tone quality on your head unit to meet your vehicle's needs, you should consider this product. I admit the blue lights are too bright, but because they are installed below eye level, it doesn't bother me. You can tell that there has been a huge improvement in sound quality. 5. 0 out of 5.

I love this song but after I heard volume #23 on the head unit I got a little sick

With the EQ acting as a bridge between the Honda Pilot Touring head unit and the kicker amps, I run a stock Honda Pilot head unit. It sounds great on volume #23 on the head unit, but after that, the EQ shuts off (lights still on), but none of the sound comes through. Is this an issue for anyone else? We are trying to make it compatible with.
