This amplifier was purchased to replace a Pioneer 4x100 amplifier that had a HORRIBLE engine whine issue. The problem was completely resolved after installing this amplifier. This amplifier's crossover is also far superior to the Pioneer's. I'm glad the seller chose Fedex over UPS for shipping because it was extremely quick. UPS is notoriously unreliable, as evidenced by the fact that a $380 subwoofer I ordered was lost in the mail.
Everybody does it, right? It's not the same when it comes to customer service. Now that they've grown up, they're ready to take on the world. They are unconcerned about the situation. I purchased this amplifier with the intention of putting it in as soon as possible. After that, I had to take my car to a mechanic. The vehicle had been in the shop for over 30 days. The return window is now closed. I went to put the amplifier in place. Straight from the box. In a sealed plastic case, there is an amplifier. It doesn't work in the least. No returns or exchanges are accepted by Amazon. Rockford Fosgate's warranty is a disaster. They stated that I would have to send it, pay for shipping, and then wait two months. I'm on the verge of exploding with rage. This is terrible in every way. For nothing, I'd like to express my gratitude to Amazon and Rockford. Amazon is a great example. Don't fall for the cuteness trap. We, the people, have many other options for shopping. br>br>Update! I was finally satisfied with Amazon's response. Amazon is to be thanked. You're still a jerk, Rockford!.
This is possibly the worst amplifier I've ever seen in my 40 years of working in this industry. I tried it on three channels at first, but they were all too weak to play. Then I switched to two channels and went into protection mode at less than 10 watts or 70 decibels.
The sound quality is outstanding! Rockford Fosgate's sound is unmistakably Rockford Fosgate. I replaced a Taramps with this, and the difference in sound is night and day. I'm not going to look at any other amps for my mids and highs in the future.
unit. Aside from the fact that you won't get the full benefits of a DSP-enabled audio system unless you do this kind of system modification, the sound quality is significantly better. I also bought two sets of Infinity Reference 6 speakers to replace the old ones. For the doors, there are 5" component ones and a Kicker sub-woofer. A kicker single channel amp powers the woofer. The CLEAN system performed admirably. The sound is finally NICE, and the power is plentiful (probably 2 1/2 times what the original system was). For those who are curious about my musical tastes, I enjoy everything from opera to rock to oldies. I highly recommend this amplifier because I have no regrets about purchasing it.
I've had it for years, but the power is incredible, with no distortion at all if you follow the instructions and use good speakers. With an old 600w precision power and 1 15" hifonics warrior, I'm using Fosgate tweeters and Polk 6 1/2 and 69's in the back.
I took it to a mechanic and it gave me a lot of trouble. It was a faulty amplifier that was the cause of the problem.
