If you have the Bose speakers (mine is from 2010), it will work. The old mounting plate's fixture points are only good for two-thirds of the amp's mounting points (the stock amp has four). It's a drop-in replacement if you know how to drill a hole.

When the rear speakers in my 2011 Cadillac SRX stopped working, I purchased this amplifier. It takes some time to set up, but it's well worth it to avoid the dealer. Hundreds of dollars have been saved. Furthermore, the amp is a carbon copy of the original. Not only did all of the speakers work again after I plugged it in, but my reverse parking sensors, which I had thought were broken, also started working again.
The radio would stop playing, the turn signals would stop "clicking," and the chime that accompanied the opening of the doors would stop working. I was on the verge of taking it to the dealer, but I'm glad I didn't. After doing some research, I found out that the amplifier was defective. I ordered this amplifier and had it replaced in 45 minutes thanks to YouTube. I'm back to having full audio!.
In my 2012 Cadillac SRX, installing this amplifier was a breeze. When compared to the dealership's offer of $500 for the installation of a new amplifier, this is a great deal. My radio would turn on fine but not have any volume, and my dash's blinker would flash but no sound would come on. As a single mother, I'm grateful that there was a YouTube video showing how to install this item, which was priced so lowly on Amazon, to assist me in resolving my problem.
Not only was my radio affected, but all sounds such as notification alerts, navigation, and even turn signals were affected as well. I live on a fixed income, so taking it to the dealer for an expensive repair was out of the question. Thankfully, I discovered Cadillac Forum online, where other owners had experienced similar problems, with several owners claiming that the amplifier was the problem, despite dealerships telling them that they needed all new systems installed. One of the owners shared the Amazon link for the OEM amplifier he bought. It was a simple fix, and the amplifier was only a few screws away from being accessible. It was simply a matter of unplugging the old and plugging in the new at that point. I now have sound, and it only cost me a little more than $100. Thank you to Amazon for having the part in stock, with free shipping and a Black Friday sale. I couldn't have wished for anything better!.
NO SOUNDS is a common issue with the SRX. Google it, it's highly recommended, it'll take you 30 minutes or less, you'll save money, and you'll get a brand new genuine GM BOSE part that works like a charm! Thank you for the reviews and videos! Pull back the carpet, unscrew three nuts, unplug like a phone, replace with new part, and you're done! 2010 SRX.
I googled for weeks until I came across the possibility that it was the amplifier. I bought this one because it was NEW, SEALED, and in its original packaging, and it worked flawlessly. It took less than 20 minutes to install, and the best part is that I now have audio in my radio, turn signals, and sensors that beep.
After giving it to my mechanic, they told me the part was incorrect. I spent another $250 in the end. 00 to have the correct item shipped overnight from Autozone, installed, and everything working again.
I'm glad I found this product because I'm sure the dealership would have charged me a small fortune if I hadn't. It was very simple to put together, though it took some effort to open the right side console. It took only four screws and three plugs to assemble the amplifier; it couldn't have been simpler.
