I recommend it, yes it is
Hello, thank you for your question, you do not start up your Mavic with this on, it's only there to keep the gimbal stable while the drone is in transit. Additionally, whenever your Mavic is powered on, the original DJI gimbal lock needs to be removed too, or you will get gimbal errors and possibly burn up the gimbal drive motor, I hope that
As long as the ND16 is installed, the cover fits perfectly in conjunction with the camera body. It attaches to the rear of the camera body and has plenty of clearance in the front.
Taking the DJI stock cover and lock off is a hassle every time, this item is a 2 in 1 solution that covers and locks the gimble in place, and you are less likely to forget about removing it before startup compared with the DJI original clear lock.

In a nutshell, Please take note Travelers may use this as a protector. During flight, it is not intended to be worn. Several years ago, I had the ribbon on my gimbal break. Several months of work (waiting) later, I finally purchased the ribbon cable and I fixed the issue My point is this It is very fragile so we recommend a clamp on the gimbal. As for the gimbal clamp, the Mavic comes with one, and if you're patient enough to attach it and don't forget to take it off, it's truly amazing. In spite of this, it is extremely irritating, which is why so many pilots In addition to the gimbal clamp, this camera protector also protects the lens, so you need to put it on and take it off only once.
Like me, you probably tossed the gimbal guard and the lock into the box as soon as you received your mavic. In addition, you probably find it somewhat irritating that every time you move your drone, its gimbal shakes and scrapes up against the body, but it would seem unwise to carry 2 more accessories just to get rid of the issue. I think that's the problem Aterox was attempting to solve, and it was such a great timed event. Luckily, it worked out that way In light of my two toddlers, it's important to me to keep our luggage part count low, so I'm never afraid to use things that can do double duty, and this accessory is the perfect example. The two most annoying things have finally been.
It's a great idea to secure and protect the lens while at the same time keeping the gimbal in place. This makes sense to me since I had to send my Mavic in for repair for gimbal issues probably due to not using the clamp while I was traveling. I won't say that it is a 100 percent fit, but it is Due to such small gaps, dirt or sand may get into the drone when the cover is not connected to the drone. My sleeve from DJI keeps my device protected, so I don't need to worry It's not as easy as you might think to attach the rubber protector to the outer edge of the cover. There is a slit in the factory cover, and there is a notch on the rubber protector, which keeps the rubber protector Amazon's cover for this book does not have that slit and it is slightly different in shape. It would have been nice if there had been a matching rubber protector or if the OEM protector would have worked. Having said that, the new cover is more durable than the one from the factory. As a matter of fact, I was putting some pressure on it and noticed that the factory one was bending That must have been a mistake, because I cracked my factory cover when I applied just enough pressure to the wrong place. Good thing I have a replacement now!.
DJI is a technology I do not understand. produce products that are almost cutting edge but fail in the small details, leading to a lot of frustration for the end user. Despite creating such an incredible drone, they cover its most valuable components with flimsy sticks that are easy to lose, break, or forget. Is it just part of the great plan I guess to allow the free market to profit from what they don't I would highly recommend purchasing this as one of the FIRST things you buy after you purchase the drone. Keeping the camera safe and remembering to put it in proper position for travel is a great idea!
When travelling, your camera/Gimble will be comfortable and secure, and, as a bonus, you will rest assured that you did not forget to lock it down correctly. The original cover has been changed so many times over the years. When it's just resting on a shelf or tucked into a tailgate, it does add a bit more class to its imposing figure!.
In a nutshell, Generally, this is a very good design, just a couple nitpicks I'm sorry,
Two of the pillars have been trimmed to fit exactly into the slot, about a millimeter, since they were a bit too long. It's small and may be hard to use if you have short fingernails or stubby fingers. That's all I got. I'm glad I don't have to use the original gimbal guard which has been bothersome for a while. There is one tip that you should know When it's installed, the camera should be pointed down (toward the top of the drone) while the mavic is on its back.
I like it as soon as I turn it on. My only problem with it is that there are a few things about it that don't work for me. It is like trying to solve a puzzle to put it on. To lock the gimbal, you need to line up the clips in front while you try to slide the back of the gimbal into the slot. The task seems to be too complicated for something that should just 2.
Would have liked to have seen a longer version of the release clip. For it to come out, you have to really press your finger nail down on it with a lot of pressure. I have to work too much again. It would be easier to reach it and more leverage would be available to push it in to release it if it was longer a few centimeters. Like I said, I liked the idea, but I may go back to a two-finger width instead There is no single piece of.
The fact that I can grab my drone into the air very quickly is essential to me. Using this, I am able to accomplish this. Furthermore, the gimbal is held in perfect place in transit to prevent damages, and the camera cover is clear, so no damage occurs. Item of perfect quality. There is no doubt that this item is highly recommended.
Don't worry about it, just put it on. To be honest, I thought at first, if that's the gimbal lock that comes with the drone, why do I need another one to hold This is 1. In practice, it actually takes practice to put and take off the original gimbal lock. 1. 2. As opposed to trying to align the original lock on the gimbal, this is much easier to use. The cover is added at the same time as the gimbal is secured, so you do not have to remove it separately. The cover is removed, the lock is removed and the cover is placed back on.
