This was purchased to provide underwater lighting for a Sony action camera video. A camera rack and two light handles were included in the kit. Because of the small size of my camera, I had to remove both handles. br>br>At depth, the red heat sinks turn purple, which I used to determine when the lights should be turned on. The battery life was excellent, lasting more than two hours, and the compartments have double O-ring seals. Water is kept out by the rings. Because of the heat produced by the LEDs, the lights are only for underwater use. I forgot to turn them off once, and the heat sinks were warm by the time I removed my gear. br>br>The fees include adapters for nearly every outlet style in the world, as well as a 100-day money back guarantee. The voltage range is 240 volts. br>br>The lionfish photo above was taken at a depth of 100 feet, which washed out the red.
Just before a cave diving trip, I picked up these lights and a few other accessories. The lights and accessories are well-made, and I like that the batteries are removable and replacement batteries can be inserted. br>br>The light is simple to use, but the intensity setting is not readily apparent. From behind, the three modes appear to be bright. However, when watching the videos, it is clear when the light is bright vs. dim. Because I was varying intensity depending on silt level and proximity to walls, some of my video shots were accidentally taken at low intensity. If the lights had shown the intensity setting, I would have given it a perfect score. br>br>At the same time, the Flex- The Connect system is extremely convenient and simple to use, but the components are quite expensive (too expensive). On July 3rd, I noticed that all of the photo and video gear and accessories are "too expensive" while browsing this morning. I hadn't noticed it before, which makes me even more optimistic about Flex Connect.
This is an excellent package. I have a nice big bag in which I keep everything I need for my underwater photography and videography. br>I was charged, assembled, and ready to jump into the water. WOW. Allow for light to shine. I can't say I'm overjoyed because I've only had the chance to use them once so far. My video's unfavorable outcome was due to a mistake in the settings. However, I can see that there is a significant difference, and the lighting is also impressive. br>The quick release mechanism appears to be very effective. I'm hoping they don't get tired after a few dives. br>All in all, a fantastic package that proves to be well worth every penny after just one use!.
This is fantastic! I always use the GoPro with no light or with the light from a large dive light that I have mounted on the GoPro. These are so bright that they can be used during the day to show the true color of coral, and on a night dive, everyone followed me around and joked that I had stadium lights. I considered just getting the single light unit, but I'm glad I didn't. I compared the two by turning one on then the other, and there was a significant difference! The batteries last a long time; I was able to get three dives out of them during the day with intermittent use, then recharge for the night dive and get a full hour on his high. br>It's well worth the money! br>The only drawback I can see is that the red button that detaches the light or the single handle that holds the light is too easy to release; I read other reviews that said this, so I tethered the lights to each other and to the GoPro just in case. The lights have tethering slots. It'd be terrible if you accidentally pressed the release button, causing a light or the rest of the setup to fall to the bottom.
With this setup, I've completed six night dives so far. Even on the lowest setting, the light spreads evenly and is quite bright. I'm not using any strobes or focus lights, but it still works well for both still and video photography. It's a simple, efficient, and well-functioning setup that's easy to keep up with - A good choice for a hobby photographer who wants to take good photos and videos while remaining nimble during the dive.
There will be no problems. Is there anything else you require? The colors are extremely vivid. There will be no problems. Is there anything else you require?.
