Light installation in the water

Flexible 1/4" locline directs light above the camera, reducing lens flare and backscatter for clear, crisp images underwater.

For diving and snorkeling, the most compact camera and light setup is available.

Locline doubles as a handle while filming, thanks to its simple mounting interface.

Mounting hardware is included, but you'll need to use the Sidekick bolt/extender that comes with the light.

What's the best way to attach the connector to the flexible arm's light? I've tried everything there is to try and find a solution to my problem. ?

Hi Rebeca,br>There is a small cone-shaped part with two lines on the top of it that you must screw into the light before the rest of the arm will click into place. br>I had an issue with the arm being too short and sitting directly on top of the Gopro, so I contacted Light and Motion, who sent me extra cones to lengthen it. Is there anything else I need to hook this up to my sidekick or camera?

As seen in the image, there are no direct mounts.

Have you tried mounting this setup on a GoPole? The arm is attached to the GoPole via an integral nut rather than a pass through. ?

We don't have the Gopole in stock, but based on what I've seen, I don't think it'll work. The pass through bolt is secured by the sidekick.

Kit for the Second Arm

Two of the arm kits have been in my possession. The first one performed admirably, and I used it for four hours on my GoPro Hero 3. 5 years. I had to get a new one when I upgraded my GoPro to a newer model because the screws on the old one had corroded/stripped and I couldn't use it with the new GoPro 8.

BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! DO NOT BUY THIS AT ALL! The arm must be "snapped" to the part of the light that is mounted

This is a huge waste of time, and the burns on my hand aren't worth it (other users suggested boiling the arm to help snap the pieces together). The directions are a disaster. They don't even give you a hint as to how to put the two pieces together. I'm not sure if there's a worse design out there, but I'm sure it's not worth the money or the hassle. It is overrated by one star. POS.

If you can put it together, it works well

It was extremely difficult to put together, but I was able to do so after softening the links with a hair dryer. It worked great as a light for my GoPro, especially when used in conjunction with a FLIP4 filter mounted on a stick. I would recommend it, but keep in mind that assembly is not simple, so be prepared!.

If you're not stiff enough, you'll be able to move around a lot

The arm moves all over the place. This isn't a static situation. With this arm, it's difficult to focus light. There is no way to tighten the situation.
