In a nutshell, This slider was bought since it is motorized and I like this brand. I own another slider that is not motorized, but the motor is extremely expensive, and I would have had to buy two of those to accomplish what this slider can do (move from one I find this system to be relatively simple and effective. It is not extremely smooth, but for my purposes, it is extremely suitable.
As I have been slowly building my YouTube video and photography collection, I have found it difficult to keep up with them. In order to find a slider for time lapse and transition effects, I bought products on Amazon and watched videos on YouTube. There are a lot of them that are really expensive and beyond my budget, but I found this one Considering how good the videos are, I decided to take a chance on With a nice case on it, a battery, and enough connections to use with different time lapse cameras, it comes with a lot of features for time lapse photography. I thought it was a solid build, sturdy and sturdy. I set up my system in minutes, and programming is a breeze. I mentioned that there are plenty of YouTube videos that show you how to use it if you have any problems. My mind is made up! You really get a lot for the money! A video of the slider in action can be found below.
As I've admitted, I had to learn it and figure out how to use it, but once I did, the slider has been wonderful. My Panasonic GH5 and GH4 cameras as well as my Nikon D7200 have proven to be incredibly reliable. In addition to my Canon Mark III, I had a Canon EOS R that started rapid firing about half way through the timelapse mode. So far, that's the only thing holding me back - I'm not sure if it's due to the camera or cable. In other words, this slider is enjoyable to use. I've already used it for a professional shoot and some fun timelapse stuff around the house and it has not failed me. Those who just want to get into the slider game and those who have a lot of Sony batteries lying around should consider this one.
The reviews are positive and dozens of them are available online The videos are as well as the written content As a result, I will only address the weaknesses that led me to return this slider (to be fair, customer support is excellent and my complaints are purely design and build-related) (2) If everything is equal The plastic enclosure is terribly fragile, and when squeezed hard it will shatter, or if dropped even a short distance, it will break. (2) The parallax mechanism is poorly designed - it's slow and unreliable and doesn't fit well into the TV. In some of the videos shot using that feature, there is noticeable jitter due to mechanical binding or slipping (3) The overall feel is cheap and of poor In much more ways than one, the device is a toy. You will need to pay more for pro results if you are looking for them.
In a nutshell, For my product video and event photography business, I purchased this camera slider to add to my arsenal of professional photography equipment. There are three modes to produce point of focus tracking, panoramas, and vertical or horizontal dolly movements with the camera slider. I knew I would require both the 48 inch and 31 inch TV, but I chose the 31 inch because it best used my needs. We chose the lighter weight and easier setup due to its weight and easy transport. In my opinion, this size offers more than enough scope for capturing both the distance view panorama and sufficient differences in background perspective while locking in on the selected focus point. Video and photo capture devices I use include a smartphone for quick uploading and a Sony mirrorless APS-C camera An example of the C model is shown below. With the addition of a full-frame upgrade in the future, you will definitely be able to capture a much wider range of footage with I believe it is important to point out that the GVM rectangle carrying bag is of high quality and has strong This track comes in a specially packaged box designed to enable easy access to all of the necessary accessories needed My Sony ICLE cameras are compatible with the micro-USB cable that comes with the coil wound shutter cable. I removed five of the six coil wound cables that came with the package.
Secondly, the glider track is made of durable steel and finished in a black powder coat finish, with bright blue color aluminum adjustment screws to help participants quickly identify the sections that can be adjusted. The four rubber feet, two for pan, focus, and straight track, as well as the locking screw to prevent the head from moving, contribute to the stability of the device. Under the carriage, there are two sizes of tripod leg stablizer bars at each end as well as one in the middle. It is even possible to mount two different tripods to achieve a unique recording angle by making use of
In addition to the included folded instructions for setting the start / stop, you can watch a video on you tube to see how to operate the controller. As a result of the controller, I am able to either shoot a short distance or use the entire track. It is possible to use both Sony compatible batteries and a 12V DC cable that is sold separately to create multi-voltage devices Here are some time lapse shots from the last hour!.
I like the slider hardware because it's quiet, stable, and smooth. The firmware in the controller is by no means perfect, however. It is not only not good, but they won't send you the most recent edition. A brand new controller was sent, but the one they sent was an old version (and did not match the screen shot on the product). They then offered to send me an updated controller, and sent me another old controller as well. I was told they did not have any new controllers on hand when I asked? What the heck? In June, they told me they would send one as soon as they were in stock, but nothing's happened since then. It was even emailed as a reminder A letter was sent to them and no response was received. I regret they didn't think ahead and make the controller updateable after all, since the hardware for the controller did not appear to have changed at all (of course I can only speak cosmetically from the pictures, having never seen the "new" controller in person).
