It was manual for the one I had. The device looked like a skateboard, and I had a hard time using it to accomplish what I wanted to do. My camera slider was so short that I bought it. A great deal of care has gone into packing it. There is no need to read the instructions since it is easy to use. Charging is done through a USB cord that is included. Additionally, the thing came with the device that lets you attach it to your camera, with screw fittings of two sizes at that, and it's a metal piece as well. The results are near professional. The build quality is good and the results are solid. It is hard to tell what it would be capable of if a professional were to use it. There are a few minor complaints I wish they could have put a bag of rubber inlays in the wheels, I wish there was a slower speed option, and I wish you could turn off the system As I mentioned above, these are minor things because I can slow down the footage in post, and ensure that the inlays are Finally, I want to wish for something greedy. For those looking to step up their video game, this is the thing to buy. The same unit is being sold by several different brands, such as TARION, Annsm, and most likely others as well. So check prices before you buy.

I logged in to see what other people have to say about this motor dolly, and I can't believe no one has reviewed it! As of right now, I am still figuring out how to use all of the features, but I have a blast using this. There is a remote control for the automatic system. A standard dolly can only go straight, curved, or in a circle. This isn't the case with a moving dolly that can go straight, curved, or in a circle. My friends will appreciate this when I share it with them.
