If you're anything like me, a lot of movement won't keep the action camera from moving. If you're using the camera as a tripod, this may not be an issue. Just keep that in mind when making your purchase. This would not be a problem if there was a place to tighten the mount with a screwdriver. It all boils down to how you intend to use it. Otherwise, it appears to be in good working order; I simply replaced the screws with the ones that came with the camera when I purchased it. Aside from that, everything appears to be in order, and the quality appears to be excellent. (You could even attach the camera to a dog!) ) I recommend this product, but I believe there are better options available.
Boss! I ended up buying this chesty rig and now wish I had started with it. I can wear it for 12 hours straight and not even notice I'm wearing it; it's just as well made as the more expensive versions (let's face it, they're all made in the same factory and rebranded); and the aluminum thumb screw appears to be of sufficient quality to last for a long time. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again!.
The strap and chest plate are adequate; they fit a variety of body types and appear to be durable. br>br>The first time I tried to unclip the j-clip, it was a disaster. The buckle tabs snapped off the hook (the part that attaches to the camera). So now I'm on the lookout for a new J-. Hookbr>br>I liked the anodized aluminum bolt, but because it's just a threaded bolt threaded into the aluminum knob, the blue aluminum part unscrewed from the screw instead of unscrewing the screw from the camera the first time I used it. It's a good thing I was just trying it out at home and had some pliers on hand to remove the bolt.
The removable clip-on camera mount on the chest appeared to be a good idea at first, but The camera's plastic attachment piece is made of a very hard, brittle plastic. The clip that allows it to be removed from the main chest plate broke off the first time it was used. Since I was using it while skiing, I put it down to the cold weather. The next day, the clip on the opposite side snapped. I gave up and attached the camera mount to the chest plate with rivets. The other end of the camera attachment shattered on a recent mountain biking trip. Although the design is appealing, the camera mount is made of brittle plastic. Consider using a tether to connect the harness to your camera if you buy it.
This item does not have enough adjustment for good mountain biking video. Due to the way this item is configured, no angle range can be made. You get some great footage of your handlebars in the end. When the camera on the harness is inverted, it aims too high, giving you a beautiful view of the sky. br>br>Instead, I'm going to get the Go Pro version. It has a lot more adjustments and has a lot more positive feedback from mountain bikers.
This worked perfectly for three days of skiing in a row. As you can see when your GoPro is turned on or off, the chest harness is much better than the helmet mount, and it was simple to figure out and use. It looked great when I wore it over my outer coat.
It's exactly what I was looking for, but the camera clip that holds the GoPro in place broke. Fortunately, I had a spare on hand, but it's perfect for riding the Mountain Coaster in Gatlinburg.
The product arrived on time, and the fit is perfect, even though I am a big lady. When I let go of the harness, the camera clip broke. When I contacted the seller, he was prompt and courteous in his response. A full refund was given to me. Aside from that, it's a high-quality item.
