As I have used the eufy Video Doorbell for a few weeks now, I have found it to be an excellent product. There are definitely is room for improvement, so I have listed some pros and cons below, but for this price it is a spectacular product. Providing the device's firmware update fixes the issue with the missing video clip and the false person alert, I can rate this video doorbell as a five star device. This is the kind of product that I really wanted to like. I had used Ring in the past, and I have a Nest Hello installed now. It has never been easy for me to use Nest products, in particular the Hello, because of the delay (6+ seconds). It has a longer latency (9+ seconds) and it doesn't pick up motion consistently since it has a longer latency than my Hello. Recording full time is not possible if the camera is not set to do so This Nest Hello resembles the Nest Acuity range of products. If it can't detect motion, it doesn't provide much value as a security device. *Giving Eufy credit for trying to make me like it. . . *Giving Eufy credit for trying to make me The first Eufy doorbell I purchased had a latency issue with iOS, so I returned it, but before I got my refund, they informed me that they fixed the issue. It was well within my power to try it again. Despite constant support from Eufy, the doorbell was unable to detect motion consistently - despite constant support from the company. It is especially dangerous when there is little light or darkness. As for Eufy, I give him an "A" for effort, but a "D" for his.

This app has the same guide that's included in the paper book that they supply, and it explains everything very It didn't take me long to remove the old doorbell and install the new one. The problems began when I reached the point of turning on the doorbell. Almost resending it due to frustration was the most I could do. In order to continue, I would then type the WiFi password as the doorbell looked for a WiFi signal. There was no connection. I pulled out a spare AP and set up a special network for the doorbell, but still there was no connection. It took me a long time to figure it out. To resolve the issue, I pulled the doorbell off, pressed the reset button, and then tried it The camera connected to the remote Chime, but once that was done, it refused to connect to the camera itself. I tried pairing the device several times, but it wouldn't match. I tried setting the motion detect area of the camera, but it kept failing to save this information. The firmware had been updated, so I tried running the update multiple times, but it failed each time. It was too late for me to fix it today, so I left it hooked up over night. As I woke up, the doorbell had updated itself and all of a sudden things changed! In general, the response time was much better since I could make changes to settings and they were saved. It took me a while, but I finally synced my chime with my doorbell. This has been working fine for a while now. It was very simple to share admin rights with my wife after she created her own account. My initial efforts were rough, but I am glad I did not give up too quickly! It's relatively new to the market so I wanted to share my experience with the built-in firmware as it is very buggy. (I don't leave many reviews, but wanted to share this).

I am thrilled to discover Eufy has released this product I had been waiting for it and they did not disappoint! Ring doorbells failed to work both times when I purchased them. Testing of the fiber optic speed in the area of the bell was carried out For the Ring to reconnect, it would simply setup and connect for a day and then disappear to do a reset, I would have to take it I tried Ring twice (because there really wasn't any alternative on the market at the time), but was so disappointed that I returned it and bought a cheap plug-in doorbell instead, giving up entirely on the concept of video doorbell for over a year. Eufy follows next The security camera I bought has the same great quality as their doorbell, so I've been tracking when they release it. We had a previous doorbell from previous owners, so I was able to connect that to the new one, so installation was a breeze. It is hardwired (which we already had). As good as their security camera, this app is extremely easy to use and intuitive. The camera is very high quality and works really well. This is an excellent book that I highly recommend.
