In a nutshell My new security camera is installed now, and I intend to use it as a camera on I loved how easy it was to install. do not know about you, but I hate reading instructions, so the attached short movie is a quick look at how to install It took me only a couple of minutes to install with a philips head screwdriver once I read the instructions. I'd recommend using some galvanized heavier duty screws in place of the supplied screws since these aren't the best for use outside. Here are two points to keep in mind Install the SD card before powering on the camera so it can be added to the Cloudedge app. Make sure it is fully charged before installing it. (The battery should be fully charged in about 10 hours. 1) The picture quality was SO good, and I really enjoyed how much I could move the camera (by rotating the lens direction via the app while watching live action!)! This function is very useful to me. There is a feature in the app that allows you to take a picture of the live view, as well as record on the SD card. The cloudedge app has been a part of my life for a few months and this camera really adds a lot to it. On my phone, I'm alerted instantly when there has been movement. I would like to be able to see the live view more quickly in the app - only one thing that may need improving. Until you see that view, there's a delay of about 15 seconds. I will find it very frustrating if I need to see something in a hurry, as this will require my phone to catch up with the live view. It's hard for me to overstate how impressive the picture quality is and how you can pan the camera around the area with the app and see a larger area of view with the panning feature. There is nothing better than this camera. Although it covers a wide area, the camera is able to get even deeper into the ground because it can pan and move. As well as installing this camera to secure my front door, I wanted to be able to watch what was going on in my backyard when the dogs went out, which is why I needed one that panned. As I have other cameras that use the CloudEdge app, the setup took me no time at all. It is not a camera that zooms in, so you shouldn't buy it if you want a zoom security camera. The camera is advertised as a PTZ camera, but it doesn't zoom or pan. Advertisement that makes false claims.
