Hey there, my name is Alex. The Reolink Lumus is powered by a USB charger currently. A round plug will be added in the near future to enable it to be powered via an adapter. Be sure to stay tuned with us, and you can contact us via Amazon Message if you want more information.
Quite simply, the power for the camera is provided by a USB port that is attached to the end of the electrical cord. Using a power cube, a transformer would be required for converting 100 vac to 5 vdc, similar to those used to charge cellphones. Neither the camera nor the power cube are supplied with power.
It would be helpful if the question was further elaborated. Nighttime, without the LED on, I'd estimate a distance of perhaps 30 feet in black and white. With the LED turned on in the dark, the light reaches as far as a good flash camera can - like the distance of a person standing a few feet away. It seems to me that during the day, there is a clearer video in color, and there is a sharp visual of the distance... But the question needs to be further refined. Without the LED, I would say perhaps 30 feet in black-and-white. With the LED on, it is in full color all the way to the light source - like a good flash camera able to operate for a couple of minutes. A crisp video in color and a sharp view of the distance are the same as a regular photograph (and video) taken with a decent digital camera during the daytime. Any recorded video can be played back just as well, and its content can be stored for future use. In the past, my cameras did not allow me to play back the alarm to see what triggered it. My only wish is for the alarm to sound more immediately. Some times it arrives quickly, other times it takes much longer. This is OK, however, due to the playback option. Give it a try. After experiencing the first, you may be inclined to buy more. More will be purchased in the future. Like a Zoom show, the display can display videos from up to four cameras at once.

After putting up with the competitors' BS for too long, I finally decided to search forever The camera I selected ticks nearly all the boxes I was looking for:-Quick response time I'm no longer limited to seeing snatches of leaving cars or people; the entire event is recorded and I'm notified within seconds -Expandable storage on board The device supports storage of up to 64GB on a miniSD card It should be sufficient for longer than a month if your sensitivity is turned all the way up -No forced subscription required You get 1 week of free cloud storage if you opt for it Increase can be purchased on a monthly basis -Spotlight Right now, the concept is extremely popular after Ring unveiled it quite a while ago In view of the above reasons, this camera is more efficient -Connected to a power source It was a hassle to charge my old camera all the time How often does my camera need service? Having researched several doorbell cameras, I decided to purchase this camera because of its price The set up was really easy, as there are voice prompts that explain how the camera connects to the WiFi This camera has a 2-way audio function so you can talk to visitors, a motion spotlight, and even an alarm function to keep you informed I needed a doorbell ringer that has it all, but did not want to hire an electrician to install it Just plug it into an outlet and in you go! A second one was purchased for the patio next to the back door
The unit is very compact It is powered by a USB cable When I bought one, they were unavailable for a while, but they are now available again!!
It is NOT wireless, so you have to use the cable attached to the wall outlet to connect it I still love the price Setup is easy, it connects to your wireless internet and does what it is supposed to do In the beginning, I thought you were supposed to need a memory card to save videos, but it actually uploads The memory card is just a device that lets you add more memory (I could be wrong) My decision to purchase this particular model was because I wanted to be able to participate in a two-way conversation, which worked perfectly well for me It is possible to set the sensitivity so that your phone will receive alert notifications when someone is close or far away from you, and you can even set it up to provide notifications during specific times Having it sense all the cars that pass your house is becoming annoying, but you can also set it to send you notifications for only things that are in your yard, porch, etc I recommend this, and I plan to get another one for the back since they sync with each other I really like the night vision and the fact that you can zoom in if you want For the price, this is a great purchase In Wisconsin winter, I haven't tested it since I just got it in the summer, so don't know how well it works if it gets down to really cold temperatures Please accept my sincere thanks
