You have a good point there. Thank you. We offer a housing case that protects your GoPro Hero 6 or Hero 5 along with allowing you to dive deeper.
The lens does not need to be removed from your GoPro Hero 5 camera. The housing case can be attached directly to it.
There is no problem.
The lens cover on mine was cracked, so I bought it to replace it. No, I don't believe there is one, please don't quote me, but it makes no sense to buy one. You can just buy a new one. At that price, why try to put one back together that is broken?

The camera fell off its tripod as I climbed down a steep rock hill, and I was helplessly watching it as it hit each rock as it fell. After getting down there I thought my camera was toast, but I had the case which took the blow for it. The case had a couple chips, but it was fine, so I guess it could double as more than a housing for a camera, right?.
I like it Despite the housing holding up reasonably well in water, it also worked a good shield when I was walking around, just in case I The bad news My gopro immediately started showing signs of rust after spending a few days at a pool, beach, and lake. I always cleaned the gopro, its housing, and attachments in fresh water after each use. This isn't an excuse then. As a result, if I continue to use the housing buttons for too long, the buttons on the gopro will soon bore or indent. The situation is not good. Occasionally I wish the back plate of the housing were more sensitive in order to change anything on the go pro, I have to open the case and manually touch the screen. While i might be able to handle this in theory, it is a task to keep It is real.
I have not used this case for a very long time, so I cannot speak to its durability. My GoPro Hero 7 case needed to protect my camera while I was riding my dirt bike and 4x4 It was inexpensive so I tried using it because it was a wheeler. So far it has been working well. Unlike other cases on the market that require you to take off the lens cover from your camera like you have to with some, I can just put my camera right in the case and go.
There is no fogging and the shoes are completely waterproof. If you move your phone from underwater to above water, you can easily clean the lens section of the casing. This item is in perfect condition. It is the case that I have used for some of my best underwater photos. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.
The GoPro we bought has a backup protection system and I bought this for it. During our vacation to Discovery Cove, we only used it for that purpose. has never let any water get into it, so I'm very happy with it!.
I love this case because it is water proof. If you don't want to purchase the more expensive case, then you don't have to. You have to believe me when I say this case worked brilliantly! I have the Hero 5 back and it is a perfect fit.
So far, I have enjoyed the experience. I have used it skiing many times and I was able to hear the status beeping and activate the buttons even with gloves on. So far, I have not tested the water.
Since this is my first gopro, I've researched gopro accessories for awhile. This case seems to be well built and is made of good quality material that is why I chose it. Despite being a little pricey, it feels good. According to expectations, the system is watertight. With the original gopro base clamps, it fits perfectly tight with the clip that it comes with. My experience with scuba diving is limited, but I am certain it would work to the depth indicated. It has not been a problem for me. It has been used for many activities including cliff jumping, surfing, and wakeboarding.
