There is a strap included. It isn't perfect, but it will suffice if you are patient.

It is a waste of time. My money was a waste. This device can be charged for hours but will shut down in seconds if unplugged. br>br>If you insert the SD card that is NOT INCLUDED too far, the camera will display a black screen until the battery is depleted or the card is removed. br>br>If the SD card is not pushed in far enough, data will not be read correctly. br>br>Because the SD card would not lock into place and would appear to be pushed out, I had to tape it shut. For about 30 seconds, it was effective. Then, when I put it in the waterproof case to actually RECORD something, the camera blacked out due to the case pushing it in too far, and it died quickly due to battery drain. All of this happened in less than four minutes. br>br>Very cheaply made, and 1080p appears to be 480p rather than 1080p. This is coming from someone who has a lot of video editing experience, has done professional editing before, and has been on YouTube for a year.
The camera is a fantastic little camera that I bought primarily to experiment with and shoot some action video (rather than taking pictures). br>I chose this camera over a GoPro because it was less expensive while still providing the features I needed, such as a motorcycle mount, a strap mount (for a custom made sports chest mount), and a dash cam. All of these requirements were met. br>br>Pros I didn't notice in other reviews: br>The 120fps allows for some excellent slow motion shooting, which is difficult to come by on less expensive action cameras. This camera has it; it shoots well, but it requires a lot of light (indoors wasn't great, but outdoors was fine). Indoors, the shutter speed must be too slow to let enough light in, resulting in dark images. br>br>It comes with a waterproof case. I haven't used it underwater yet, so I can't comment on the picture quality. One thing to note is that when I took the bike out for a ride and there was moisture in the case, I threw the case on the camera to protect it from bugs. The case's lens fogged up about 30 minutes into the ride. I'd recommend making sure there's no moisture in the case and wiping it down with IPA or something similar. br>br>Cons: br>When the camera shakes on the bike, which happens at speeds of 35-40 mph, the camera produces some amusing video wavy effects. When mounted to my body/car, I haven't noticed this, but it's worth noting. br>br>Screw-in mounts only seem to screw in partially. I'm referring to the fact that the screw does not engage after a little more than a quarter turn. Typical screws should be turned in more than twice to fully secure whatever they are attached tobr>br>the camera comes with an rf controller (similar to a television remote control). The receiver is in the upper left corner, next to the lens (as shown in the pictures on the amazon page). The difficult part is that in order to activate the camera/video, you must be facing it from the front. You can't use the other mode (for example, if you're set to video, you can't shoot a picture) depending on the setting (it starts on video mode). Also, the case covers most of the rf receiver, making it even more difficult to use the remote. br>br>If you shot at 120 frames per second, the playback frequently freezes the camera. I would recommend not using it and instead downloading it to your computer (it works fine with vlc and even media player). br>br>If the camera freezes, you must press the reset button with a pin. Finally, if you don't have pin, holding down the power button won't work, making this a difficult task. br>br>Lastly, the camera doesn't have that heavy-duty design. quality feel, but the video and picture quality more than compensates. br>br>Alex.
They were of good quality, especially for the price, so I chose this one because it had the added "high-end" feature. option for "speed" The "high-quality" feature was not mentioned in the product description. The "fast" option was VGA resolution, which was the same as video taken with a solar-powered camera. calculator with a battery This was unfortunate, but it did not detract from the overall experience. br>br>The fact that the battery refuses to hold a charge was the true deal breaker. I tried charging it with a variety of chargers and USB cables, as well as different outlets and times (ranging from 30 seconds to 2 hours), but none of them worked. I can only use the camera while it's plugged in, so it'll only work as a dash cam at best. a unit that stands alone Even when using dash- Cam duty would often take up to half hour to turn on, and 50% of the time it would glitch out on the loading screen. The only way to fix it was to let the battery die (which, thankfully, doesn't take long). br>br>Because it was so inexpensive to buy, it wasn't worth the trouble of fighting with support to get a replacement unit/battery. This camera has not been a pleasant experience for me, and I would not recommend it.
The USB plug stopped working after about a month and a half of use. Email was the only means of contacting tech support. After about three weeks of back-and-forth, Pyle told me to send it to them at my expense, and they'd look into it. Pyle's assistance is extremely unsatisfactory to me. The camera was great for a while, but then problems with the camera's USB port began to occur. I went out and purchased an external flash card reader as well as additional memory. More money, more money, more money, more money, more money, more money, more I was able to read the camera's memory using a flash card reader. If I knew what I know now, I would not purchase this camera. I went out and bought another camera from a different manufacturer because the service was so bad.
This isn't even close to being acceptable. Instead, I'd get a new Zoom Q2HD for my needs (mostly static shots of musical events). Maybe if I went snowboarding or something, this would be clearer. br>br>Advantagesbr>- br>Affordablebr>- There are numerous mounting options availablebr>br>Consbr>- On every USB 3. 0 port, USB completely fails to enumerate. I'm forced to remove the Micro-USB cable from the 0 port I've plugged it into. To watch videos, use SD cards.
- The spherical distortion caused by a super wide-angle lens is unsightly. br>- The lens appears to be made of plastic and is easily scratched and scuffed. br>- The sound quality is unremarkablebr>- The image is grainy, particularly in low light. br>- The use of the button/touch interface is sluggish and inconvenient. br>- Digital zoom is ineffective (as is typical of this camera class)br>- You can't swap USB power out while the camera is in use because plugging and unplugging USB for power resets it. br>- Because the LCD viewing angle is poor, it's difficult to see if you're not looking directly at it.
