This is great. It would be nice to have a walking stick that is both attractive and functional- Using a monopod while traveling light allows you to capture impulse shots. It may have been a bit more expensive than the cheapest alternatives, but I hoped a stick that was actually helpful in keeping balance on iffy terrain would be worth it. As soon as the monopod arrived, I was impressed by its solidity and heft. On my way to the coast of Maine, I clambered around the giant's steps The monopod passed the test with flying colors. My foot has been in it numerous times since then, both walking and taking pictures, and I have been pleased with it.
