Questions & Answers

Hello, I have only Manfrotto tripods and mounts, and yes, quick releases from Manfrotto as well. Who can please tell me what else I need to make this gimbal work?

It is necessary to have Arca-compatible hardware Mounting plates of the Swiss type. Several Manfrotto plates were not able to cover the entire breadth of my refrigerator.

The mounting/balancing plate is included in the price, right?

You will receive a 6 inch plate with it. As part of their new plates, ProMediaGear has also included SS2 type strap ports.

There is a lot of wobble wobble wobble (long waves of oscillation well within specifications when loaded up)
3/5

There is a lot to be thankful for The outer frame (main body) of the mount is very stiff and beautifully crafted. There is a gorgeous finish to this item, and it has a very elegant appearance. However, the pivot bracket inside the shooter (the center bracket that pivots around the tilt axis and contains the Arca Swiss mount) is far too thin and cannot resist or dampen torsional loads of even 1/4 of the maximum load on the shooters. In order to check if the inner bracket oscillated dramatically for numerous seconds, I placed about 12 pounds of equipment on the Arca rail, and balanced it as instructed. After this, I found that the inner bracket oscillated dramatically for many, many seconds if tapped. There's a wobble, a wobble, a It was not the tripod on which it was mounted that was the problem. Both the outer frame of the Katana Junior mount (which features a cool space frame design) and the outer frame of the Katana are large and heavy. A very thin bracket attachment that mounts the 'bird swing' to the tilt axis was able to produce the oscillations (mostly rotational in a horizontal plane). I'm sorry, but that's just too slender for you not to twist it. Hence, you can either get the version with the Arca Swiss mount right on this axis (yes, you can forget the bird swing), or you can try another camera Further, locking up the pan axis produces an offset to the right, so that the entire camera needs to be re-positioned Creating a frame. In order to get started, you would need to You can center your frame to the left and tighten the pan lock to get it to rotate the right distance to center the subject on the frame. The tilt axis doesn't seem to have that problem, at least not as obvious. To my disappointment, this unit is very pretty and elegant, but it is not up to the task.

I really like the way this design was built
5/5

I am very pleased with the result. My awe is awe-inspiring at the quality and construction of the In terms of quality, it will rival the ten thousand dollar ones. My first impression was that it was well-built. I could feel and know that it was precision-built. I love how smoothly the knob moves and how well it holds. Whenever I lock down my camera, it will not move. A lot of weight is added to the camera after a grip, two batteries, and The action is like riding on air when it is loosened. Gimbal is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a thousand dollar gimbal but is not willing to pay a thousand dollar price for it.

Katana is great because it's so easy to use. This Jr. Katana is great because it's so easy to use. Having researched and read reviews before making the purchase, I was unsure of what I was getting into, but I couldn't be happier! I found it to be very smooth and worked well. My expertise is not any kind of photography, but I enjoy taking wildlife photos, and I needed something to match my Tamron I really like this. I was provided with everything I needed. Gitzo GT0532 was used in conjunction with this.

This book is highly Prior to making this purchase, I read the reviews on the internet and researched other brands
5/5

was surprised to find that I loved this gimbal mount so much. Despite its lightweight and simplicity, the device is highly effective. The Nikkor 200-400 has been with me on many all-day trips with my Nikon D7200 and a Nikkor 200-400 In the case of the monfotto carbon fiber tripod with the 500mm lenses, it was difficult to transport. These pictures I have been able to take are wonderful. I highly recommend this product.
