This Teleprompter is of high quality, it does not have a remote control nor any My dream of having a teleprompter goes back to when I started shooting videos
4/5

It was an item I could not pass up when I saw it. It was a pretty easy set up right out of the box - almost. Putting on the hood was a bit tricky as the pictures are difficult to see, and it was installed To do that, I had to remove the Velcro which has a very hard grip and was quite If not, it's a piece of cake. As I looked at it, the first thing I noticed was how heavy it was. In the process of ordering it, I was concerned that it wouldn't be able to hold my camera (a Canon 6D with heavy wide-angle lenses). There is no problem at all. A heavy aluminum teleprompter with tempered glass is used, and the fabric hood is extremely nice to look at.
If you decide you need to take it with you, it comes with a really nice carrying Despite improvements in ease of use, there is still room for improvement. In the case of my tablet, the glass can be easily adjusted as well as the support clamp. A quick release plate had to be attached to the bottom of the camera so that it could be mounted on Additionally, to adjust the camera front to back, I need to remove a screw from the camera and slide it, then I need to reinstall it. Rather than a slide with a knob that can only be tightened or loosened, a slide with a screw or knob would be more useful. There are many teleprompters on the market that come with a Bluetooth remote and their own software to control them. No such thing is provided with this. Even though the software can be downloaded for free, it is very difficult to operate this without a remote control. My speed was slower than I wanted it to be, so I had to work on it before starting the shoot. Besides, it would take a lot of trial and error while shooting, as well as lots of stop and start, to get the speed just right. I'll have to spend another $10 or more to get good software What looked like a good deal turned out not to be. In terms of price, when you include the accessories, it's comparable to other models.

Teleprompter with a good build quality
5/5

With the ToucLait 12" tablet teleprompter, the device is significantly less bulky and feels much more sturdy than the one I previously used. The design is beautiful - I love it A majority of the pieces are made of metal, and they are simple and functional. All of the attachments attach with thumb screws, and all of the glass/mirror slides into a slot on the base. I shortened my time in swapping out my old teleprompter to less than five minutes and I like it a lot more. As far as I can tell, this tablet holder is very solid, and I really like that it comes with two "wings" with 1/4" screw holes and cold shoe mounts so that I can mount a small light or microphone on it. It functions very well with the Rode VideoMic Pro that I mounted to it for recording backup audio. Because it was bundled in a carrying case with plastic foam, it COULD be considered portable, but I wouldn't feel comfortable taking it apart in order to pack it up again. The display is set up in my studio/office, and I plan to keep it there permanently.

My first one was a long way off from what it is now
4/5

Having worked in video production for over two decades now, I bought my first teleprompter back in the early 2000s for infomercial style videos. Much like the teleprompting technology has become smaller and more efficient, so has the camera technology! There is nothing too complicated about the concept and it has not changed--- A piece of glass should be placed in front of the lens with black drop material behind it to create a sort of 2-point view How to- Suppose you mirror the text, then reflect it in reverse (why ), and your subject appears to read their script off your lens, but the camera cannot see anything. There are some things from back then that are still true Please note *br* There is a mistake in your text. The old one came with PC software for this, and since iPads weren't really a thing yet, we used laptops that could fold all the way backwards (mostly Thinkpads). It comes without software, which is surprising. In any case, there are some free ones out there, and the one I use most is A slide show will be made that the subject can advance using the presenter remote that reverses the images. As far as I can tell, none of those things come with this set, but if you have been doing corporate or commercial video you probably already have access to them. I agree - By placing the mirror in front of the camera, you will lose some exposure. The problem is that if you're lighting your scene properly, then you should be able to compensate for this. You will probably need to temporarily bump up the ISO or aperture to make it brighter though. I just wanted to let you I agree - The subject of your photo is to be comfortable reading quietly without his eyes darting from side to side. I just used the teleprompter for this.

Some of the things that have improved with the new model are Please note *br* The tripod now attaches to it! It used to be that you had to use a stand for a laptop or monitor lying horizontally while the tripod was behind it unless you had the budget for a display that was built into the camera. Since it was not portable, I had to keep it A camera like this one is easy to take to a shoot location and can be set up This one incremental improvement makes the world of difference to us, to be honest. Due to the difficulty of taking my old teleprompter out of the studio, and the fact that most of my assignments were location shoots, I hardly used it either. We can now shoot testimonial or narrated production videos out in the field with much greater ease! It is important to keep in mind you will have to figure out the display mechanics yourself (software, presentation, speed, remote, etc. ). simply gives you the physical hardware to get it done, you will have to come up with the mechanics on your own. I would definitely recommend this!.
