Selected User Reviews For Spolehli Teleprompter TMP Adjustable Smart Phone/DSLR Teleprompter 7.5'' with Big Screen & Remote Control Portable for Recording No Assembly Required (Only teleprompter)
I did a lot of research before buying it because I needed a teleprompter that could record with smartphones but could also be used to shoot with DSLRs if I wanted to upgrade in the future. Most teleprompters simply do not provide this in a single package, which I believe is a significant market gap. Because smartphone cameras are so good these days, many people can record with their phones instead of investing in a costly DSLR. So I was ecstatic when I came across this teleprompter, but I was also skeptical. br>br>Most teleprompters cost several hundred dollars, and professional videographers will tell you that anything under $200 will have cheap glass, allowing the script to bleed into the recording. That was my biggest concern with this, but it hasn't turned out to be the case. I've recorded 20 videos so far, and everything is working perfectly. Advantages: br>br>
- As a recording device, it is compatible with smartphones!! Why isn't anyone else doing this without the need for a separate adapter? It boggles my mindbr>- Overall, it's a small size, so it fits nicely on my desk and I can keep it there indefinitely. br>- Even in low-light situations, script text does not bleed into the recording. br>- The script remote control is identical to the one found on $200 teleprompters (it just has a different logo). br>br>Cons:
- I'm not sure how long the phone holder (the one for recording, not the one for script reading) will last, but so far it's been fine. br>br>I haven't tried using the remote or their app because I'm using a third-party app, so I can't comment on those, but the app doesn't look great and I believe it's in Chinese.
It's an extremely useful tool. My video filming has become more efficient as a result of this. The remote control comes in handy a lot! Plus, it saves time!.
It does what it says. Although the app isn't perfect, there are plenty of teleprompter apps to choose from.
We were aware that this teleprompter was of a smaller size. It performs admirably for its size, and I plan to purchase a larger one in the future.
