In addition to the two standard threaded holes on our teleprompter, it also comes with one removable screw. Fundamentally, the product does exactly what it is advertised to do and is very well made. A problem I'm having is that the lens always gets in the way of the shroud. Camcorders are not able to pass underneath the shroud since they are connected to the cable. Because of this, the shroud bunches up and forms a block. For the shroud to pass underneath the camera, it needs to be able to be stretched firmly so that folds and wrinkles won't impede the operation. In the current situation, I am trying to come up with a viable alternative, such as placing the camcorder on a block and getting the shroud under that However, this leaves the camera vulnerable to damage if moved or knocked over. In the case of a SLR type video camera equipped with a long lens, the shroud may be passed underneath the lens and then held tightened around it.
A broken piece of glass was in mine. I am so disappointed. It seems to be a common issue with this type of brand The item will be sent back to you. This was something I was looking forward to using. As I do a great deal of presenting and speaking via online streaming for work, I was looking forward to getting my view up into the camera instead of looking There have been other reviews pointing to the thin glass as being the cause of the broken unit being received. In my opinion, it is the way that the product is packaged that contributes most to its Rather than the soft box with molded/cut out foam as it is currently, the carrying case needs to be stronger, like hard plastic. In addition to the glass being deeper in the package and covered with bubble wrap, especially the corners, the glass should also be covered with bubble wrap.
item is not a camera. It is a teleprompter that does not require a tripod to be attached. On the back, there is a place where the camera fits, and on the front, there is a place where the iPad will go. Displaying words on the iPad is actually what the device does. As its name implies, a teleprompter is simply a mirror that reflects the words appearing on an Despite its small size, it was a sturdy, reliable device. There's only one complaint I have about the camera the bag that goes around the camera was cheaply made and sometimes got in the way of the camera lens. I think it's a good solution all in all. A very nice carrying case is included in the package.
There is no clear glass on the 70/30 beam splitter, and the frame seems solid enough, but the glass is extremely thin and I recommend looking for something else if you are going to use it for more than one purpose. Here's an update I was contacted by the company and the unit was replaced. The teleprompter arrived broken and given that it is not intended to last very long, I was not confident in its longevity. It might be the case that all teleprompters are fragile. I gave them an extra star because of their outstanding.
At first I looked at this product because it had a good mounting system, but I was disappointed by how flimsy it was. As I was about to shoot, I tilted the screen just enough to shatter it. Because of the fragile glass, I lost out on the shoot. I wish it were a stronger plastic or a more durable glass. Unless it is upgraded, I would not recommend it in its current form. As far as the packaging goes, it Glass is one of the worst parts of a room.
The teleprompter on the screen is amazing. We use this with an 11 inch tablet and a DSLR camera from Canon for our podcast.
This teleprompter is of high quality and works well with my setup, but I have not purchased a teleprompter before, so I cannot compare it to anything else. With the teleprompter and my iPad as the screen, I have it mounted inside a ring light. It seems to work well.
