Yes, the width is adjustable from 5 to 10 feet.
The backdrop cloths are held in place by clips included in the package. If you didn't want to use the cloth, I suppose you could use paper instead.

The green screen is fantastic. It does exactly what it says! It's simple to put together and take down because everything fits into a 24 by 6 by 6 bag. A white one is also available, and it's fantastic! Because I have a projector, the kids can now easily watch home movies on the white screen, which can also be used for photo shoots! The tripods are small and lightweight, and the clips are extremely useful. strong, and the entire setup is just right; I am extremely pleased with my purchase. br>br>The backdrops were wrinkled and creased, but I tossed them in the dryer with a damp towel and they turned out perfectly. To keep them from getting creased again, I wrapped them around a pool noodle. This was a fantastic solution. The stands are very easy to extend, and I found them to be sturdy enough to hold the backdrops that came with the kit.
Update to my previous review: while the item appears to be sturdy in the box and everything was well-packaged, the stand is a little flimsy; however, sandbags were provided to help keep it grounded. Also, the backdrop sheets that come with the frame are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy shorter than the actual width of the There is a gap from the sheet's end to the right side of the frame, as you can see! I didn't like it because it looked strange, but it did a good job of making everything look nice. br>br>Ps. I received a coupon in my box stating that if I left a 5-star review, I would receive a $20 gift card; I left a review before using the item, but have yet to receive the coupon. I believe in principle, and if they weren't avoiding the issue, I would have left the review up, but not only did the product fail to meet my expectations, but the company's customer service is also lacking.
This kit performed as expected for a low-cost backdrop. The stands aren't as sturdy as one would hope for in a studio setup for everyday use, but that's not something I need. When fully extended, the backdrop bar sags slightly, and the tripod stands are quite light. Which, in my opinion, is a positive feature. They're small, light, and simple to transport. br>br>On one of the backdrop polls, I had a minor issue with a flared-out roll cut that wouldn't fit into another section. After smoothing the cut with an adjustable wrench, I assembled them. As a result, I'm giving it a slightly lower rating. There will be folds and creases in the muslin backdrop, as with any muslin backdrop. I found that dappling the muslin and putting it in the dryer for a while, as well as letting it hang for a day before using, helped. If this isn't what you're looking for, you'll have to upgrade to canvas or seamless paper. I used the white muslin for product photography and to experiment with speed light setups in portrait photography; if you want an entirely white background, use a second off-white background. To overexpose the background, use a camera light source. The back light also improved the overall quality of the image when it came to product photography. By adjusting the light curves in an image editor, I was able to remove some unwanted creases and shadows. I got a grey background without the light source on the backdrop, which is to be expected. br>br>Overall, it meets my needs and budget. I'm not sure if I'll ever use the green muslin cloth, but I'm hoping to use the black cloth for some portraits soon.
On Prime Day, I bought this. I wanted something primarily for video calls, but I'm also interested in trying out photography. I thought it would be a good choice because it came with three different backdrops. br>br>Setup is simple and intuitive, and I tested it with zoom (in backgrounds). It was noticeably better with a custom background (you can set it to green screen in the filters). Because getting full coverage can be difficult depending on how wide your video camera shoots, I had to position the backdrop fairly close to the camera. Depending on your camera, you may also be able to adjust how wide it shoots. The backdrop is made of cloth and is wrinkled when it arrives, but since it will be used as a video green screen, the wrinkles will have no effect, so I didn't bother smoothing them out. br>br>The stands could be a little more sturdy. I don't see a problem with them indoors, but I'm concerned about them outside. I haven't fiddled with the sandbags yet, but I'm sure they help keep it steady outside. br>br>The carrying case only contains the stand; the three backdrops are packaged separately in three zip-lock bags. Overall, I am pleased with the setup. br>br>It would be nice if the entire set could be stored and transported in one bag. br>br>.
I originally purchased this kit to use as a backdrop for work zoom calls. It's ideal for this because you can make it as tall and as wide as you like. Perfect for my webcam with a wide field of view. The frame is fairly stable and has a lot of adjustability to get it to the right height and width, which allows me to be very creative online. Although the fabric is thin, when all three muslin backdrops are used together, it gives the impression of being thicker. I simply baby clipped the three together to create a solid background. I've also used it to take photos for Christmas cards and for post-production, and the green screen is a fantastic experience. This kit is a great value that can be used for either zoom calls or dabbling in digital photography. My next experiment will be to use this green screen to make YouTube videos.
Like many others, I bought this as part of a Prime Day deal. In comparison to other options, the component quality is below par. The "muslin" backdrops included in the kit are extremely thin ( Light easily bleeds through the green screen and black backdrop (which is made of 2 oz fabric and looks almost like netting). br>br>The stands are flimsy to begin with - The metal support brackets are extremely thin, the sliding parts hang and do not slide smoothly, and the retention handles are also inexpensive. The three clamps, on the other hand, are excellent. br>br>At the same price point, other backdrop kit options have much higher quality, thicker, larger, heavy-duty backdrops, and much sturdier stands with thicker metal braces and support bars.
