Each bar measures 3 feet, so three bars equal 9 feet. If you plan to use curtains or balloons at the ends, I recommend using all four bars, which will give you a total length of 12 feet.
I also required a second crossbar, which the vendor stated did not come in separate packages. It was impossible to find one in the right length that was of the same high quality as this one. Every other "bar only" option, unlike this one, is divided into four sections of four feet each. Alternatively, if you do find one that is the same full length, the quality is so poor that it isn't worth the trouble.

The best feature of this stand is how simple it is to put together! It comes in a case that keeps everything organized and is easy to transport. I'm so glad I decided to buy this stand instead of renting one because I've done so many events and rented these types of stands. I'm going to order one or two more to add to my collection. There are four bars across the top of the page. Because they attach to the sides, two must be used. Despite the fact that they expedited the correct part to me, it did not arrive in time for my baby shower, so I was unable to use it for its intended purpose.
