I believe I read somewhere that they will eventually have it. Profit is a good place to start.
In manual mode, the D1 will function perfectly as a trigger and controller. The profoto remote works in the same way as the manual version. For the flash, you will not require a pocket wizard or another device. TTL functionality will also be used to control the D2, A1, B1, and B2.
It is not going to happen. The TTL system and Air capabilities of Profoto are distinct, and they do not work in TTL environments with Canon Flash products.

This is an excellent trigger with a lot of useful features. I primarily use Profoto A1 speedlights, but I also have a number of Canon flashes. I chose this model because it has inputs that allow you to connect non-Profoto speedlites to this unit via a cable and use them. Unfortunately, this device does not support High Speed Sync. When I bought it, I must have overlooked it in the description. I only needed to spend another $439 on the Profoto TTL. As I type this, I realize that the product I ordered was called the Air Remote TTL, so it appears that they sent me the incorrect unit.
It's a little pricey for what you get. I believe it could be smaller while still retaining the same level of functionality.
It isn't syncing with our system as promised. I spent at least two hours troubleshooting but was unable to resolve the issue. I got a replacement from a different source, and it worked perfectly.
It's so much easier to use than Canon's speedlight transmitters. There's no need to read the manual. So far, in limited use, it has performed admirably. If anything changes, I'll let you know.
camera. There will be no more humiliating errors. fires!.
However, it is prohibitively expensive; could a less expensive version be developed?.
So far, there hasn't been any misfires. My pocket wizards, on the other hand, don't have this problem. It's very simple to adjust the camera's settings.
Batteries are a battery eater. I already updated the firmware, so there will be no batteries left. The problem is the same.
