Every aspect of this product is excellent. In the past, I have purchased umbrellas that were significantly cheaper, and I was seriously impressed with the quality of the Westcott umbrellas. We can all learn from them. Westcott's everything is better than that of any other hotel. The centre pole and ribs are better and the material is better. Better chromed metal has been used for the locking mechanism, so doing so is easier. It came in a heavy plastic sleeve with a snap that actually worked. Even the plastic sleeve that protected it arrived in was heavier plastic. Upon upgrading all of my umbrellas to Westcott umbrellas, I am looking forward to a wonderful new experience. There is absolutely no reason to save money by switching to a Wescott!.
