Questions & Answers

What is the performance of this lens in low-light situations?

When used on an X-Trans sensor, I've found that focus is pretty accurate even in low light. Pro2 and X-Ray are two of the most popular cameras on the market today. It is slower than in a well-lit environment, but that is to be expected with any lens.

How well does this lens perform when it comes to photographing real estate interiors?

Enough is enough! Although not as wide as the rokinon 12mm, this lens is still suitable for real estate.

I'd like to know if the lens is from the US or if it's from the gray market, and I'd like the ?

We'll take care of yours.

Is this going to work with the x100f? Would it make a good present for someone who owns an x100f?

The X100F is not a zoom camera; it has a fixed lens. Instead, look into the Fuji WCL and TCL, which are Wide and Telephoto conversion lenses for Fujifilm's X100 series cameras.

Both of the Fuji 16mm lenses are in my collection
5/5

This may have been the most pointless purchase I've made in a long time, but I bought it, so I figured I'd give it a review. I bought the f/1 because I was getting impatient waiting for this lens to come out. 4 versions were created in order for me to have this focal length. That lens is every bit as good as all of the praise it receives everywhere Fuji lenses are discussed. br>br>So, what was the point of the ostensibly pointless purchase? The f/1. 4 lenses is just on the cusp of being too big for Fuji's small bodies. Although it has excellent optics, I prefer to carry dx cameras when I don't want to carry my full-frame DSLRs with fast lenses. This f/2. My X-ray returns when I use lens number eight. T2 to the tiny kit that enticed me to buy it in the first place. In terms of size and operation, it fits right in with the f/2 set (23, 35, 50mm). br>br>Shoot in the middle of the aperture range, say f/5, if the light is good. 6. Then, after a lot of non-scientific testing, I believe that using this smaller, lighter model over the faster version gives you very little advantage. I ran some brick wall tests and found that from one stop down, this lens can achieve edge-to-edge sharpness. I prefer the smaller lens in use because it is easier to transport and allows you to take your camera with you wherever you go, increasing your chances of having it with you. When I use the f/1, I'm completely aware of what I'm doing. 4 lens because its size and weight make it obvious that it is present. br>br>To be clear, this slower lens is not intended to replace the faster lens in low-light situations. At f/1, the shots were taken. The four with the wide angle view are particularly beautiful. This small lens, on the other hand, is ideal for the way most people use wide angle lenses: stopped down for a medium to deep depth of field when photographing street, city, and landscape scenes. br>br>The f/1 was given by me. 4 lens 5 stars, and based on the cost of a 1000 dollar lens versus a $400 dollar lens, I give this lens 5 stars in terms of cost to performance.

Compact, sharp, and easy to handle
5/5

I've had this lens for about a month and have used it on both an X-T1 and an X-T2. T2 and X- I'm a stills photographer who only shoots video on occasion, so I can't speak to that aspect of the lens. br>br>With every camera brand I've owned, I've had a 24mm or equivalent lens. This length gives my photography a different perspective and allows for a slightly wider rendering without distortion. The Fujinon 16mm f2 lens was used for this photo. In my kit, 8 occupies a well-worn spot. It's a good choice for handheld shooting while strolling around town because it's small and light. Although I primarily shoot landscapes, I did not purchase this lens for that purpose; instead, I prefer slightly longer lenses. The 16mm 2 is ideal for me. Interior and cityscape photography benefit from the number 8. br>br>The f2's size is smaller and more compact. 8 performs admirably on both of my camera bodies, and the quiet, snappy focus ensures that I've yet to miss a shot. Close focusing is possible up to 6", which is ideal for tabletop shots. I went with the f2. br>br> Over the f1, there is an 8 version. 4 because I rarely shoot wide open, preferring f4 to f8 for the majority of my shots. If bokeh and shallow DOF are important to you, this lens is probably not for you. Nonetheless, at 2, I discover that. 8 This lens does a good job of rendering backgrounds in such a way that they add depth behind my main subject; it's not just 'good enough. ' br>br>Over time, I've discovered that I prefer two basic lens kits for my photography. Then there's a two-lens zoom kit for general photography, followed by a set of prime lenses for slowing down and thinking about each shot or situation. The Rokinon 12mm and four Fujinon compacts (16, 23, 35, and 50mm) make up Fuji's primary kit. The 16mm f2 lens was added to the mix. I now have a nearly complete kit, with the exception of a moderate telephoto, thanks to the addition of 8 prime lenses to my prime lens lineup. Both images were shot with a 16mm f2 lens. The letter B stands for W is a three-letter word that starts with the letter W and ends with the letter The gas station image is sooc, and the frame HDR was shot handheld. Classic Chrome was used to capture this jpg. br>br>*UPDATE 7/15/19* I've added a third dog image. Taken with a handheld camera at 18" with a 1/20 shutter speed and a f2 aperture. Single-point AF at ISO 800. A B& No sharpening was applied to the W LUT. I'm still blown away by this lens' image quality, and I can't say enough good things about the 16mm 2. 8 enough.

Yes, this is yet another excellent Fuji lens. br>It isn't their sharpest, but it is sharp, and it covers a specific focal range, making it one of the lenses you should consider. br>Are telephoto lenses required? Do you prefer the 18-pound 18-pound 18-pound 18-pound 18-pound 18-pound 18-pound 18-pound 18 Because your Fuji doesn't have IS, you got a 55mm. br>Then get this lens and the X-T2 adapter. H1, and don't buy anything else. br>It's all you need, despite the fact that the Leica D- Lux 7, as well as the Sony RX10-M1 If you want an elegant little camera with a lot of zoom, the 3, is also a great choice. br>However, I'd like to comment on your Fuji cameras. You could add the 27mm and, if necessary, the 35mm, but since you already have the 18-35mm, that's all you'll need. Isn't it 55mm? br>The Fuji X_H1 is a fantastic camera, with no annoying flip-out screens and a tilting screen that looks like it belongs on a professional camera. If you add those three lenses to the camera, you're good to go for years. br>Keep this in mind. Selfies are taken with a phone, while photography is done with a camera. The AF on the Len is quiet, quick, and precise. The lens isn't too heavy, and it'll look great on all of your Fuji cameras. br>It's about the size of a medium small, but not quite. br>Colors are good, ease of use is excellent, and Macro@about 4-minutes is possible. inches (closest), which is also excellent. br>The price reflects a great deal. br>Go ahead and buy it; I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Fujinon lens with a focal length of 16 mm
5/5

On my Fuji X-T1, I used this lens almost exclusively. During a two-day shoot with the T30 camera, In late April, I will be going to Spain for a week. It's a fantastic lens: It's razor-sharp, focuses quickly, produces vibrant colors, and it's light as a feather. br>I went out and bought the X-Men X-Men X-Men X-M I chose the T30 with the Fujinon 16mm lens because I wanted a light and sharp camera/lens combination, and this one delivered. During this trip, I also brought a 35mm Fujinon lens, but I rarely used it because the field of view of the 16mm lens was so good. br>During the two weeks of travel, I shot nearly 2,000 RAW JPEG images, and I was very pleased with the sharpness and color of the results.
