How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
5 M12 lenses, carefully chosen for low distortion and tested on 1/4" image sensors such as the OV2640 and OV5647
Horizontal FOV ranging from 45 to 90 degrees on a 1/4" sensor is available in 5 different FOV (Field of View).
Caps have been labeled, screws and a m12 lens holder have been included, and specifications have been provided. It's a lifesaver when it comes to selecting and changing lenses.
NOTE: Because this kit is housed in the same box as our 10-lens M12 lens kit, it only takes up half the space, and some sockets are left empty.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to get some nice bokeh with any of these lenses?

Of course, only after you've properly adjusted the aperture, focus length, and shooting distance.

Hello Linda, I'm interested in purchasing only the 90 degree no-distortion lens and your lens board (not the bundle lens). What is the best course of action?

Hello, you can purchase the 90 degree lens separately by searching for ASIN B08H4YXWLJ.

Instead of using an RPI setup, I'd like to use this set of lenses with a USB setup. Which of your cameras are compatible with these lenses and mounts? thanks. ?

They're connected to a USB camera that I use. Either your camera body must already have an M12 mount, or you can use one of the three M12 mounts included with this set if you start with a board-level camera, as I did. Their necks are different lengths. Specifically, how far away from the sensor the lens can be mounted. The size of your sensor and the back-focus of your lens are the most important factors here. focal plane, and mount neck length (the distance between the lens and the sensor at which it can be mounted). A small IR cut filter was glued to all of these lenses, which I removed with a razor blade (the filter was destroyed in the process). In my lab applications, I'm not concerned about IR, but I was concerned about the Filter colliding with the sensor. In a nutshell, M12 lens mount is required!

What size sensor is being assumed in the fov row of the table of lens specifications attached to this listing (asin= b07nw8vr71)? 1/4"? 1/2. 5"?

Hello, in the description, we clearly stated that the lens' FoV is on a 1/4" sensor. Please send an email to [email protected] with any questions or concerns. If you require any additional assistance, please visit www.com.

Variable outcomes, but it's nice to have choices
4/5

For a macro application, I purchased this lens set: To create digital video, 16mm film frames were specifically scanned by an automated system. The 'low distortion' label on this item had initially piqued my interest. While the lens doesn't have as much of a fish-eye effect as some others, it's still a good When I look at the original lens that came with my arducam kit, I notice more blurring around the edges. The photo's focal area has improved, but the edges have deteriorated. The presence of 38 on the left side of the photo is very slight but undeniable. I'm not an optics expert, but I've tried a variety of ranges and zooms and still can't get rid of the edge blur. Still, it's a great lens kit, and trying out all of the different lenses was a lot of fun. I can see these being useful in a variety of situations.

Amazing
5/5

These are fantastic lenses. I do wish they provided more precise measurements so you could tell if the thread length and working distance are compatible with your camera.

Tools for projects that must be included in the kit are essential
5/5

To be honest, I was sceptical of those lenses at first. However, once we started using them to figure out which lens would be best for each project, we realized how useful this kit was. The product was of excellent quality, and the Arducam team was quick to respond to our questions. Both kit packages have now been purchased, and these will be the tools that each engineer will use in the field. It comes highly recommended from us.
