Questions & Answers

AF is available on this unit How can I assist with the ?

I don't believe it does. ITTL is not used in this flash.

What are the battery requirements of the device? Will I need to purchase batteries separately? Do you know the type of batteries you need?

Neither batteries nor a charger are included. A set of four AA batteries is required. Choosing rechargeable batteries is a great way to care for the environment and it saves you money as you can go through 4 AA batteries in one shoot (longer).

What is the compatibility between this speedlite and the Sony A7 and A7ii full-frame digital cameras Would you recommend a DSLR or a mirrorless camera?

That's fine with me You can use any camera with a hot shoe or remote trigger if the camera has a hot shoe. However, it is a totally manual process It is NOT TTL, so be aware

When I go to use the flash I cannot get it to work. I got the flash over a year ago, and it has never worked since. It works with the new battery but does not work with a new one. ?

Oh yeah. As far as reliability and lasting longer than a year is concerned, they're not the best. The two I bought were both from Amazon. One of them died a month ago, but the other one still works, but I switched to a new system now. See what Godox has to offer. In terms of reliability and time to live, you get more for less money.

Considering the Price - I would highly recommend it Hot, but Not Too Hot This is ahead
4/5

This is the second time I've had to buy two of these flashes. I was a few days away from a big wedding gig when my Canon flash stopped working. A fellow photographer friend lent me two more of the same flash. chose was extremely dark, even during the day (heaven forbid! In fact, I had four lights, three of which were mounted on my camera and one mounted on the tripod. One of my favorite things about these flashes is that you can control them all with one. The service is not only convenient, but it also saves a lot of money. With the flash mounted on the camera, I shot for 10 hours, and with the remaining lights, I shot for at least 4 hours. During the event, I did not have to change batteries more than once or twice. There is ONLY one thing I dislike about these flashes, and that is that one of them became very The depths of the sea are calling out to me The devil's in the details The batteries (literally) are When the indicator light on my phone notified me of the heat, the flash automatically shut In my attempt to remove the batteries, the ever-present flames began to flicker My flash got taken for a timeout because she was loving the hell out of me. Following the cooling process, I replaced the batteries and it worked properly for the rest I have not put it through another 10 hour day since then, but neither have I done so Perhaps I should have returned that particular flash, but it's a little late now. I had four different Hades-types but only one became a great one I was pleased to find that all three of the remaining players held their ground in the inferno. The Canon speedlite flash I have is a lot more difficult and confusing to use, and I absolutely love the trigger function I highly recommend it above the Canon speedlite flash. Make sure your hands do not get too hot if the flash gets too.

This is a great Because I'm an amateur photographer, I couldn't see myself spending hundreds of dollars on a flash, especially considering I'd only be using it every once in a while
4/5

So I looked around and ended up buying the YN-53. It was a very satisfying experience working on the 560 IV. My Sony A7s worked great with the diffuser attached to this flash and it recharged within a reasonable amount of time. In spite of the fact that it has manual controls as well as no TTL, I like that this flash has all sorts of different functions that make it a must-have accessory Below I have mentioned a few downsides that knocked off one star for me I'm exasperated. Taking out the build has been the most difficult part for me The diffuser is in place. The other diffuser that comes with it is a blessing. I'm exasperated. The diffuser will not fit in the cute case that comes with it once you attach it to the flash Hence you will not be able to close the top because it will be a little taller. Yongnuo is selling the two together as a package so I would expect it would have enough space to fit it, but it unfortunately does not. It is an excellent flash and I recommend it highly to amateur and professional photographers alike!.

Fortunately, I was able to save my session
5/5

It's time for you to stop hesitating. In a nutshell, As I looked at millions of reviews, I was slightly hesitant to buy this speedlight unit since, over time, they all said it has a great quality at first, but it does not last. The majority of my work is studio photography, but at times I also photograph In addition to this unit, I also acquired two YN560 III units. My reasoning for purchasing this YN560 IV was that I can use it as a master for the YN560 IIIs I purchased earlier. I left them in the boxes when they came in just because I wouldn't need them for a while but I did have a problem in studio where I could not trigger my strobe due to a dead trigger. As soon as the session could not be rescheduled, I immediately slid this onto my Canon 6D hotshoe and set up one more YN560 III remotely as well. I am thrilled with their seamless coordination and couldn't have asked for more. In the light of this situation, I am assured of my trust. I really like the quality and functionality - it's just what I'm looking for. In the near future, I hope to use this unit for my wedding. It was very easy to set up and it had a light up screen, buttons, and a touch screen. The first time you turn on the unit, you are going to hear the standard sound it makes. A remarkable feature is the ease with which you can turn it off. Having to google how to turn it off is really inconvenient. I have had units where I have had to do that. Because of the diffuser, the light is softer and the lamp is even better. As I positioned it over the unit, my shadows were less punchy. The diffuser is already attached to it when it comes out of the package. In fact, I was able to put it back on very easily after taking it off to check out the light. It has been reported that some people have experienced problems with the diffuser, but I was never troubled by it. The product I received is beyond my expectations! I'm thrilled.

This is an amazing This is a great flash for everyone
5/5

The first camera I used was a point and shoot, and now I am getting into taking photos with other types of cameras. From a friend, I was able to obtain a Canon 7D, and this was the flash that he recommended. Despite reading around, there are very few PROFESSIONALS who do not If this flash can compete with the name brands for $500+, then it is amazing. There is a small glitch, however, as the camera knows how to talk to the flash so you can't meter with it, but setting it up is only a few pictures away. Most of the time, if I am shooting at 1/32 in my house or other casual settings, I do not change the flash power. While talking to the camera is not one of its features, it offers pretty much all the other features you could ask for and is more than enough for an I added the shot to this review because it was taken in my loving room during a rainy Furthermore, we use LED lights, which add a strange hue to the A diffuser was used for this flash to bounce off the ceiling, as well as an angle around 45 degrees to my right. The one thing to keep in mind is to keep your shutter speed low or you won't get the ambient light. In this case, I had mine set to 1/60. Despite this, I also shot it with my basic kit lens 18-55 At 555, it is 55. The results of this were excellent, so I was very pleased. We can't wait to try it out with some better lenses during the holiday season! Please note that I take my pictures in RAW and process them in the free DPP software from Canon. In just a few minutes, you can easily make your pictures look better than the jpegs your phone always spits out. I'd never done that before, but with a little research you can do it. For this picture, it took me less than three minutes to make a few changes. Again, I highly recommend this to anyone and There is no cheap feel to it, the menu is easy to use, and there is a lot of flexibility for different situations.
