Questions & Answers

Can a Canon 80D be used with this flash?

In short, yes. There are two 600EX II-models to choose from Adobe's RT series is the best flash that Canon There's no way you'll grow out of Other Canon flashes are inferior to this one in terms of capabilities. In addition, buy the Canon remote if you plan to use it offline You can use the flash on a camera. It will be obvious to you.

Do I have the option of continuously shooting? In what time frame is the recycling process completed?

While speed shooting was not a feature I was looking for when I bought this camera, I have tested it in both Both my testing and the flash were done using the default settings for the camera and flash on a Panasonic BK-E2 The 3MCCA4BA Eneloop AA 2100 Cycle Ni-Cd is offered in Batteries comprised of lithium MH cells. When I was using single shot mode, the flash fired as quickly as I could press the shutter button. I estimate that less than half a second passed When it runs at high speed (6 fps), it drops the ninth frame about every time, but picks up where it left off and it's only one dark frame. The next flash does not require a pause before recycling. There's no way I can keep up with this for a very long time. It only took about 20 seconds for me to stop. You might be able to get a better result by reducing the power, say by 1/4, or by using a battery or power supply external to your camera, but depending on your shooting conditions, you might not have The camera I used for this image was an EOS 5D mark IV & It is an EF 50mm f/1 lens. With the flash zoom range set to 50mm, the 8 lens looks like a 50mm lens. I'm not familiar with Canon's specs as they vary too much for me and probably contain an average recycling time of every scenario they can produce. 0 is what I mean. The following three things have to be done With the high setting for 5 seconds and the low setting for The following are the numbers 1 and 2 Would you please turn the low setting up for 3 seconds? That's too wide a range for me to be able to get any real world information from it.

Can a Nikon D850 camera be used with this?

The Canon equipment it works with is the only one compatible with this. Its own Speedlites are produced by Nikon.

It is okay to leave these new 600 cards to rest for 15 or 20 seconds
3/5

Since I have been a professional wedding and portrait photographer for over 21 years, I'd like to introduce myself. Throughout my life, I've used Canon products. Starting with the 540EZ, the 550EX, the 580EX, and the 580EXII, and now the new 600EX- I am very happy with this product. The 600EXII and RT I am not sure what Canon did to these new 600 versions but they just do not have the staying power of the older ones. A fast and reliable flash is what I need. The 580EXII have been my workhorses since as long as I can remember. In the midst of shooting an event, I ran one of my 580s to the point that the front lens melted, but it kept on firing and did not As a result, my flashes are always connected to external batteries, which means that they can be recharged It is fine to shoot these new 600's at the beginning of the day if you let them rest at least 15 or 20 seconds between shots. I think that is a good thing. One of the negatives is that when you start needing them to fire every 3 or 4 seconds, they start failing. As soon as the 600 became overheated, the unit would A new version of version two isn't working at all. Typically, it takes 5 or 6 seconds to recycle a pack and batteries that have just been charged. There is no way to depend on these units. No problem when you use them in manual mode, but my issue occurs when I use ETTL mode. There is no problem with radio triggering as well. It is really very difficult for me to love these flashes but the moment I need them the most, my flashes constantly fail me. The handheld model is an excellent choice if you're an occasional shooter. You may need to seek out another provider if you require them to work no matter what. The day will soon come when my Canon 580EX II lenses will no longer be repaired by Canon.

There is a great deal of difficulty reading the LED panel
3/5

It is very difficult to use the controls since they are not intuitive. 430EX Canon flashes have been a part of my collection for two generations and I I just returned the 600EX II to Amazon after purchasing it and not using it for a week. The following are the Flash RT commands. The LED panel can be incredibly difficult to read even when it is One of the most frustrating aspects of this interface is the menu structure and selection wheel, which is the only way to navigate the interface. To fire the test button, you have to exert a lot of force. This much force requires the camera to be reframed from the entire frame if it is mounted on a tripod. Despite its similarity to the 430EX flash series, this flash is viewed as less usable, although its functionality is as spectacular as that of the 430EX series. My 430EX iii was about to be replaced - I was not sure where to start It is possible to use the 600EX iI with the RT flash Amazon was contacted after I returned it less than 24 hours after buying it.

The price is high, but the quality is good
4/5

What it should do is do what it should do. Several of my yongnuo lights are the same as these offbrand lights except that the offbrand lights stop working because the heat gets too high. There is no evidence that this unit has ever done so. It didn't break on the first drop, but I dropped it from about four feet. I dropped the Yongnuos 5 feet and the flash head broke, so I sent it in for repairs (something I never had to do when I dropped it). As long as you don't drop anything and can afford it, this is overkill but it is worth its weight in gold due to its strong power and solid There is nothing worse than having your lights fail during a shoot.

Adding this to my camera is the perfect addition
5/5

My intention is to use it with my Canon 5D Mark four so that I can start practicing with off-camera flash A camera flash technique is great for taking pictures of distant objects The flash is also fantastic for using on camera with a 24 x 24 soft box, since it is intended to be used It's easy to get used to and there are many options to adjust with it. If you use this off camera, you will need a trigger to fire the flash with the camera if you use it off Everything works perfectly with the Canon trigger I bought.

This speedlight has disappointed me so much
3/5

This speedlight has disappointed me so much. As of October 1, 2017, I purchased this item. In 2016, both of them celebrated their senior year and had a lot of weddings, engagements, and graduations). I had a speedlight stop working during my wedding ceremony (which was shot in a dark barn) on Friday. Recyclating or charging, as it states on the screen, was taking an agonizingly long time. Instead of using my old Canon 600EX-S I switched to using my old Canon 600EX-S I used it the rest of the day, and the rest of my photos were taken A 400 EX II was my choice to use for a night session last night, but halfway through the recycle time the 600 EX II became difficult to use. When I got home, I got one of my 600's, and finished the job. In the near future, I plan on purchasing a Canon CP-330 I would recommend you to try out the E4N Battery pack and see how it affects your experience. Unless I can find another one of the original 600's, I plan to retire this speedlight. Please take note When it comes to charging a speedlight, I always use Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries since I have found nothing else to compare.

I am very happy with my shooting

A 430 ex II I had burned out, so I replaced it with a Chinese one. Those solutions worked, but they never were Having some spare cash eventually enabled me to buy this beast, and I am very Both my 7D and my 6D with the 24-70mm have been used with it I was playing around with my 105 L as well as my The 200 f2 is a big and heavy camera. Having purchased this product, I am extremely pleased with it. When the lights come on at my local track, I can't wait to try it out for wheels up launches.

The Ettl tool works great, but I still have to learn how to manually operate it. The AA batteries lasted a very long time. I am satisfied with my purchase and.
