Yes, they're pricey, but then again, so is good stuff. br>High-quality mil-spec night vision with comfortable headgear and no "dead spots" as described in other reviews.
What a fantastic photo!.
It came with a stamped and dated inspection sheet. I don't write reviews because I don't have anything to say about them. I feel compelled to provide an honest evaluation of these goggles in order to reassure a potential buyer. br> Due to the high cost, it's a big gamble, but with no prior experience or insight, it was an impulse for the sake of adventure. So when they arrived, I had no way of knowing if they were knockoffs. I couldn't see anything after that, so I decided to read reviews and found one that basically said they were junk and didn't work. I was about to give up when I turned the batteries around and it came back to life; after adjusting the front focus and each eye lens focus, and playing with the relationship between them, I realized I could dial it in. Prescriptions appear to be compensated for by the eye lenses. By adjusting the eye lenses, a black dot appears and vanishes as it comes into focus. When changing the distance between the subject and the camera, constant adjusting is required, but it is simple to get used to. The lighting and clarity are fantastic. It will take some time to get used to up close hand-eye coordination, but I plan to use them off-road with my rig's IR lights. The lack of a flip-up hinge on the head harness disappointed me. I'm pretty sure they're brand new. I'm glad I went ahead and took a risk. I'll be able to put them to good use.
