It would be very difficult to take a worthwhile photo of a stationary animal with this camera since you would have to be an amazing photographer, but taking a great photo while it is pitch black out is very doable. I found this night vision camera to be a fantastic buy for an amateur photographer like myself.

There are some really awesome night vision goggles here. This technology is so powerful that it can even be used during the day and you can record your observations. The thing I find interesting about devices of this type ("such as this one") is that they seem to use the same basic hardware and user interface, so I suspect they all come from the same place and then just get random branding and casing designs attached to them.
