It's actually difficult for me to pinpoint exactly what's going on. The Nikon 200-series was the target of my purchase It has a 500mm focal length and an aperture of 5. A total of 6 VR lenses. My Nikon D500 and lens fit perfectly in the case, but I wanted another case that's large enough to accommodate the lens. The pouch was given to a family member as a gift.

This lens case has extremely good and sturdy interior padding. It is thicker than most lens cases I have used. An additional pad is also provided to keep your camera secure- There is a strap that attaches to the side of the lens (see pictures), as to ensure that it won't wobble around inside. The straps are kind of ridiculously heavy duty, including Finally, the case itself is very sturdy, I can just pop it into the trunk of my car (with the lens inside) without worrying about anything. All in all, it is a very satisfactory product. I think it would have been nice to have pockets on the side and a waterproof bag attached like the Think Tank bags, but personally I wouldn't use them anyway, and would prefer the durability.

This BL-47 works great with my Olympus, Neewer and WGear cameras. I'm buying three more to replace them, again I had to purchase from different manufacturers because the lenses are different sizes. In case 0003, the top, the bottom, and the sides are covered with a very rigid but soft foam blanket. A small insert ring came with it, and on my lens it fits in there where the Canon to Fuji adapter is located. The case appears to be very solid (unlike the Neewer brand returned case) and would be able to support a heavy object from top or side.
The belt strap is about three inches long and two inches wide (before the double loop Velcro fastener). The pouch has a double zipper opening (I never buy a cinch cord close that's in style. Poorly constructed, it leaves a gap at the top and, when closed, has a long loop cord to deal with or get caught unexpectedly, as well as a long cord to deal with once closed. I have no idea what a lens case would do. Additionally I don't like Velcro style closers because they are noisy and easily catch on items like cleaning clothes, clothing, felt in travel bags, etc)

I found this lens case to be the best I could find to protect my enormous Tamron 300mm f/2 lens. The camera has a vintage 8mm lens (sony minolta mount). In addition to it taking my full lens with the hood attached, or flipping the hood so that I can pack it (for travel/storage), it will even fit my Sony Nex- 7 if I am using the full lens with the hood attached. With six mirrorless cameras, and an extra-large LCD screen I have attached an EA4 adaptor. So, I can use it to hold both the Lens and Camera at the same time. Much better because I am not going to have to carry more than one bag, especially when I am going through brush or a terrain where I have to climb. You can capture a family of foxes with their kits by taking photographs. There was not enough room within the Thinktank (excellent) specific equivalent lens case for this lens with the hood extended and, I guess (not sure), the diameter was not adequate. (I am not taking down thinktank cases they are excellent, but this seems to be equal, at least to the extent that I need this for You can wrapped the thicker part of the collar thingie around the more slender end of the lens with this handy case. A lens bag/case like this is perfect for me. way, because In addition, when I remove my lens hood, which is a neopreme type that goes around the lens and over the front, it will remain in the case due to friction. Once you have pulled out the lens, make sure you put your hand back in to retrieve it. You should always reattach the lens before putting it back in the back, so that you don't just "hope" it fits. Use your own judgment when deciding how to reattach. There are no doubts about the quality and strength of the product. The humidity control will keep the lens dry and prevent fungus on the lens and camera as well.
One could also get those silica dehumidifiers to give the added benefit of preventing fungus on the lens. Great.
I love the way it fits. It would have been perfect if it were maybe an inch taller, then you could attach the A7iii perfectly.
