Yes, the pockets stretch a lot.
I don't own that lens, but based on what I've seen of it, I believe you can.
I use both of those Nikon lenses and use the Lens Changer 35 to swap them out. The 70- With the hood reversed, the 200 fits into the changer, but the tripod foot must hang outside the changer, and the lens' base protrudes slightly from the top. This is not a problem for me. The lens is securely held in the case by its weight, and the draw string can be used to further secure the lens if necessary. This lens changer appears to work well for me, and I have used it with other lenses.

I have a few Think Tank cases for my lenses and camera that fit on my Think Tank Steroid belt, including the Lens Changer 35 v3 case, which holds my Tamron 24-70mm lens comfortably. 70 f/2. 8 G2, Canon 100mm f/2 lens 8 macro lens, as well as my Tamron 15-35mm lens. 30mm f/2. There are eight G2 lenses in this collection. I've used it in Australia and Colorado, and I'm planning to take it to Alaska with me. Again, I have no complaints! It does exactly what I want it to do, and it holds more than Think Tank claims.
It has a lot of space. The larger size that was recommended for my long telephoto lens was too big for me. (Canon 75 mm) I don't use the lens hood very often, so this is a better fit for me. br>br>My only quibble is that the protective flap should have gone over the case and functioned as a lid. The flap is small and sits inside the case, so a draw string must be pulled tight to keep the case closed against the elements or forest debris.
It's a tool that I use on a regular basis.
