Despite the fact that it is very pretty (I got the white one), it is useless. The collar is stiff, too wide for a comfortable fit around the neck, and, worst of all, it is scratchy to the point where it chafes the skin on your neck. I'm not sure if it's the stitches or the fabric, but something on the edges of the strap feels as hard as monofilament. Because it is beautiful and functional at the same time, it really is a shame.

It is a strap that came with a camera my dad owned in the 1980s that I have always loved. The one I have is very similar to his except mine is bright and vivid whereas his was brown in color. I love the look of this one, but I love how soft it is! My neck has not been bothered by it at all. Another thing I love is how it makes it quite different than everyone else's camera that has the brand of the camera engraved on it. I would describe this strap as a "Dare to be different" bracelet.
