An AmScope ME320TWB was just purchased by me In addition to my Canon DSLR, I also own a Nikon D40. set all I need to take a photo of a specimen? Can you tell me what else I would ?

The adapter screws directly onto the camera without the need for a lens and keeps it stationary in your microscope tube. It is evident that the image quality through the adapter is significantly less than that When using a full frame camera (Canon 6D, 5D or 1DX), you will suffer from very large distortions on the outer 50% of the image, which makes it virtually Using an "afocal" setup, when you focus the camera + lens to infinity and shoot through the regular eyepiece, will give you much better results. A trickier setup is for the lighting setup, since you have to get the camera in just the right position and block any additional light, but the results will be It is also tricky find a lens that is suitable for this task, since you need one that has very short front optical elements (so it works close to the I use an old Olympus 50mm lens with a Canon adapter, because I'm using a 50mm lens that's a classic manual focus. It cost me $30 to get them all from eBay )*br>While the picture quality is not as important, this adapter allows you to take pictures very conveniently in

Are you able to use it with the Powershot ?

A point and shoot camera like the SX30 cannot be removed from its shell. Standard Canon lenses must be used on a camera body. As far as the fittings are concerned, this accessory fits the same as Canon EF lenses on the camera, except that there are no focus adjustments available. When you focus the microscope, you need to move it up/down.

Is this an adaptor for fitting a camera onto a microscope or a piece of heavy glass with a lens inside the ocular. ?

There is a lens, but outside of being used with a scope, I don't know if you would have much use for it. However, I'm really good at using the microscope.

This attachment has been designed to work with Amscope's SE305R The M150C and the M150E from Amscope It has been a challenge in the past for me to get the right size eyepiece for Amscope. ?

Since objectives diameter is the standard dimensions for the model, fitness should be dependent on that. In my case, it works fine and I use a scope similar to the

It is easy for me to use

In a nutshell, With the help of this adapter, I filmed this on an Amscope B100B-equipped T3i An optical microscope for MS analysis. A digital zoom of 3x and a shutter speed of 30 were used to film this video. The results of my experiment have been quite positive, I can actually see more detail on my computer screen than I would through an eyepiece with this adapter and the loss in field of view really does not seem to be too bad. My pictures do become a bit blurry as I move from a low power to a high power, but that is more likely to be influenced by how well my camera handles low light. Here's an update The nikon E200 Trinocular was recently purchased by me and I have produced some very nice looking images. I'm not able to upload my video with the E200 on amazon, but hopefully I will be able to do so in the near It is fairly simple to disassemble the adapter for cleaning, but there are some spots I can not seem to get rid of, but for the price, I cannot If you slightly screw in or screw out the internal lens, you can also adjust its focus. I am president of the council A tripod with a c-stand works quite well with the Nikon TV tube By mounting the mount on top of the tripod, I was able to focus the 40X objective without having to refocus when switching between binocular and trinocular, while the other objectives only required small fine adjustments. It would be nice if the C mount adapter had a screw to prevent the camera from rotating, as with an HDMI, USB, and power connector coming out of my T3i, I might brush against one of the cords and it would slightly rotate it.

My sad truth is that I get better images when I use my
3/5

It looks wonderful and I am anxious to use it for documentation of observations I make with a binocular dissection microscope, but I have not been able to focus the images no matter how hard I try. If VGA quality was your goal, I guess I wouldn't be annoyed, but when using a quality Canon digital camera, I expect to be able to get decent image quality, and that just isn't the case. However, trying to view this image with my cell phone through the ocular produced more satisfactory results for me than with the above method. (At least, the vignetting around the edges of the cell phone images is to be expected, while the rest of the subject is crisp and the notebook prints look great. I've decided to get a microscope and image capturing system designed together so that we can document better.

This is a good choice for a live demonstration but not A live feed from the Canon Rebel T5 will be streamed to my laptop when I attach the attachment

With out a lens aperture, there is no good method to control the amount of light entering the machine. When an open aperture is used, the subject is simply not as sharp as what can be seen through the scope's eye piece because of 'fogging' around the edges. am able to use this with my AmScope SM-M It is 140A. As well as fibers trapped in the bottom lens, the top lens also needed to be removed and cleaned.

It has a good design and works well, but the image quality is not great
3/5

In a nutshell, A considerable amount of chromatic aberration correction is needed in the eyepiece of the AmScope objectives, unlike more expensive modern microscopes from Nikon and Olympus. It will be necessary for the camera adapter to perform a similar function. It's the eyepieces that are good, but the camera adapter falls flat. The image is softer, the details are smudged, and the chromatic aberration is obvious even in the center. It is not possible to view the image at its edges.

The attached video shows a comparison between the same image taken through an adapter and the same image taken through the This is a cropped image that is based on the 1,200 x 1,200 center area, so it represents about 7% of the total image size. Adapter results in a rapid degradation of image quality outside the center. When using the eyepiece, the image quality is acceptable to at least five times larger areas.
These two images were taken with Canon 5D Mark III cameras, merged from a stack of 15 photos with different foci, and retouched in Photoshop CC to make them as good as they can be. As a result, I overestimated Both photos have been sharpened because they were a little too soft to begin with. Here's a look at the photo through my eyes An image taken with a Canon 100mm f/2 lens was used in the making of this piece. Focused on infinity and practically touching the eye with an 8 macro lens I piece together. A tripod was used to hold the camera. There are some positives when it comes to the build quality I have no issues with it, it clicks securely in place and there is no wobble. I like the product because it works, is inexpensive, and the quality is not terrible as long as you crop the image in the middle. I am probably going to return it. I don't think the quality is good enough for me, but for less critical work it should work just fine.

To take microscope photos, you need to have the right gear
5/5

It took me only a couple minutes to test this item. However, first impressions are pretty good in the photos, I am very pleased with the outcomes. All optics are clean and I used my cheap microscope and a Canon 6D mark II (pictures cropped). Honestly, I was quite satisfied with the result. I'd recommend it to anyone.

This is a great piece as part of an awesome macro setup! It was kind of a crappy review before, just really happy and grateful for this piece and the microscope I bought from them

I am also grateful for the other USB camera I had as well. It wouldn't be possible to have such wonderful pictures without this company!.

The build quality is great, but the optics are poor
3/5

Many have mentioned here in the reviews that while the build quality is great, the optics are unusable, and without good optics it just becomes a paperweight. Together, it and my Canon T4i made a pretty good pair. My tuner is being retuned right now You must also pay shipping to return the item!.

It is chromatic aberration that is awful
3/5

Even when in focus, the image is not particularly crisp. But the worse part is the amount of chromatic aberration that makes the image very unappealing. A camera eyepiece would be a better choice for taking photos. There is only one compliment I can give to this camera, which is that it seems solidly built. It would be better if it had a better lens.
