Measured mine just now and it's 61 inches long. This ring is 2mm wide on the inside and 4mm on the outside. I can't tell how much they vary from unit to unit, but I would avoid trying to squeeze it over an inch. I am a part of 5".
Although I don't know the color temperature of the light, it is similar in hue to the morning sun piercing the glass in front of my microscope where the unit is positioned.
In the collar, there is a screw that Each one measures 75 inches long. Therefore, I would estimate the smallest inside diameter to be in the range of 1 to 1.2. An inch is 65 inches. By using a flexible nylon shim between the lens body and the screw, the amount of marking on the lens would be even lessened. As well as the main ring, an adapter ring with a diameter of one is included. The threaded OD is 1 inch and the overall length is 71 inches. With a length of 86 inches and two areas for screws, there is a total of 86 inches. There are 11 inches in height.

5 out of 5 for the Amscope 144 LED! It's no doubt that Amscope makes high quality lights, and this one is no exception. This picture has a bright, even illumination, almost no shadows, and a very nice contrast. Hence, it can be used for a microscope. Also, the light is white, this is around 6200K, which means it is very white. For soldering circuit boards, this light may sometimes have a little too much reflection from It would be perfect for soldering if it was in the 5000k range. It is nice to have an adjustable switch, just in case you want to dim it down. I really like that it's not too bulky, it's the perfect size. The LEDs look great as well, and they have a much crisper look than the cheaper LED rings you can locate on Amazon for half the price. You certainly get what you pay for with this light. There is no reason to believe it will lose its brightness over time.
The reason I have deducted one star is because of the cheap plastic adapter they include with the product. This can't remain on the microscope for very long. On amazon, you can also order a metal version of this ring adaptor made by Amscope for about $20. The purchase was worth the money even though it was an expensive item. A lot of metal is used to make this one, and it's very heavy. With this light, it would have reached 5 stars if the metal ring adaptor was included. However, there can be no doubt that this is a top notch LED light.
In order to determine the extent of the damage, I purchased an 4X or 5X In addition to the 180X inspection trinocular stereo zoom microscope, a LED light ring is included. As a result of this, both the bottom and top of the halogen bulbs get extremely hot and do not produce enough light for viewing various objects at Due to the high level of heat produced by the original halogen bulbs and lamps, there may be a plastic burning smell due to the newness of the scope. As I understand it, the smell will disappear over time, as the LED produces little to no heat and produces a bright white light, rather than a warm yellow one. It is highly recommended to get an I primarily use the light and scope for the production of the show Talking Scuba, where I capture photos and videos of freshwater animals and plants. The AmScope SLR / D-SLR is only suitable if you are doing DSLR or video shooting In my experience, I have found that additional LED lights may be required to get enough light for good exposures without trying to increase Make sure you have additional LED lights setup on a stand in order to properly expose the picture. It seemed like there was almost no light on the subject using my T3i - it looked almost white - when I examined it closely using the naked eye. It was exposed properly in the camera, but it was not in the original.
This LED light ring is vital to my stereo microscope and I use it all the time. Working with a stereo microscope on a printed circuit board with small components in the environment is very challenging because the ambient light is too variable. I can adjust the brightness of this light ring as needed with a rheostat on the controller so I have light where I need it. More LEDs will be illuminated as the rheostat is set higher. The light ring will save your eyesight and be of great use to you in terms of time. Time is money. I did not give AmScope a total of four stars, however, as there was one very significant issue I had with it. In the case of the 0. 00 adapter, the plastic ring that mounts the LED light ring to the objective lens housing would not thread properly. After purchasing my 5x Barlow lens, I will need to use this lens. I observed at close range that there was inadequate thread depth engagement between the plastic adapter and the metal Barlow lens housing, which resulted in the LED light ring falling off with a mild tap, as it would be normal when the Barlow lens is used normally. A number of emails and phone calls were received from me to get what I needed. Ultimately, they sent me a metal adapter replacement after their customer service representative, Travis, promised to send one. Following a series of follow-ups, I found out that In a number of emails and telephone calls over the coming weeks, I eventually convinced Travis to send me the metal adapter, which he did after he spoke with his non-U. S. contacts Management that places the customer's needs first. I shouldn't have had to exert this much effort on my part to get AmScope's management to do the right thing for their customers, but Travis made this effort on my behalf with his management team. For AmScope, it would be far better if the plastic adapters were replaced with the metal ones without causing hassle, and it is worth the extra cost for higher It will be useful for you to follow these instructions if you plan to use your microscope often.
I find it very helpful. Just above the target field there is an adjustable clear white light. The most advantageous element is the continuous intensity adjustment controlled by a potentiometer (instead of incremental push buttons). It's easy to find out what lighting works best for the sample being.
The Amscope microscope works well with this. The only reason this got a 4 out of 5 star rating is only one of the three retaining screws broke.
This fantastic side lighting is in line with the lens and great for what I do. The side lighting I have used for years was always too hot and difficult to adjust. This amazing light is fantastic for what I do.
Having this handy can help me inspect small dental tool parts I need to inspect for repair. With this light, I can really see the fine details and quickly determine if a part requires replacement based on how much wear it has sustained or if we need to replace it completely. With the new light, you can really see a difference between the old light and the new one at high power! With this light, I don't even need to put it on the highest power setting at 90x if I'm using the highest power setting. When I'm using the computer, I find that leaving the brightness set between 1/2 and 3/4 works best for me. When I inspect parts for wear and damage, I'm able to see the smallest of details. Besides having the ability to inspect parts after they have been cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner in order to see how well they have been cleaned, it is also a powerful tool. I should not have to worry about burning out bulbs with LEDs, and the white light this bulb produces is very appealing. The light from this manufacturer is highly recommended by me if you want to purchase an inspection microscope for similar purposes as mine!.
I am very happy with my purchase!.
